I purchased a $3,425.61 gaming PC from Skytech on May 5, 2025. Within 30 minutes of setup, I found it underperformed and could not run ********* Flight Simulator properly, which was a key reason for purchase. No software was installed, no changes madejust tested briefly and immediately repackaged in pristine condition.I requested a return on May 29, within their 30-day window. Skytech is enforcing a 15% restocking fee without inspection, even though their own policy says up to 15% based on condition. This implies discretion, but none was applied. The product is in mint, resalable condition, and the short usage was only to determine performance.I clearly explained this was a performance mismatch, not buyers remorse or damage. Their team refused to escalate the matter or reduce the fee. This rigid application of a maximum penalty feels arbitrary and unfair, especially for a premium-priced product that failed to meet advertised *************** requesting a full refund or at most a minimal restocking fee aligned with actual condition, not a blanket 15% charge. If unresolved, I will pursue a credit card chargeback and report to the ***. I have documented all chats, emails, and return instructions. All Im asking for is fair treatment under their own stated policy.

I purchased a Skytech gaming system on 8/26/24 which is advertised as having a one year warranty. I had an issue with the pc not turning on. I purchased the system through a company called Benefitsme which is a service offered through my employer to purchase products with payroll deductions. Upon contacting Skytech they refused to warranty my pc because I didnt have an invoice from Benefitsme where they purchased the computer from. I was told it looks like they purchased it from another vender and sold it to me. What difference does that make? I had proof of the date I purchased the system new. They should be able to verify the system with the serial number I provided them. I had to take the system to a local repair shop and they were able to get the system back up and running. Id like the have the cost of the repair shop fees reimbursed by Skytech.

While still under my manufacturer warranty, my cooling component failed. I was sent a new part and expected to install it myself. When that didnt rectify the situation, I was asked to send my computer back to their repair center. I paid $40 out of pocket for shipping materials. Luckily the company agreed to cover this shipping costs. After two weeks of waiting, I was contacted by *********** ***** and informed I had just installed the new cooling component wrong, and they will install it correctly and send it back to me. A week later I get what I thought was my computer. I was sent a completely different computer with just a sticker on the back that read my original serial number and a cloned hard drive. The startup system is completely different and there is plastic covering on all the glass. The back panel does not have near as many ports as it did before and feels 10x cheaper than the original computer I paid for. I fully believe I have been scammed. *********** disclosed none of these changes in the email regarding my repairs. I am requesting to be sent what I paid for without defects or damages and an explanation of why my drive was cloned and placed into a cheaper model of the computer I originally purchased.

I purchased a computer on Newegg and received it no issues on Newegg part however. Skytech gaming makes broken computer with faulty parts. Ive read many other reviews on BBB and they all have the same issues as me. STG scams their customers knowing they have defective parts. Im now stuck with a shell of a computer that has nothing but faulty parts in it. Skytech Gaming is a scam business. I want to send this pc back and get my money back or somehow a new pc that actually works from anyone but Skytech Gaming. ****** says no refund on it but what am I to do if they sold me a bad product from a bad manufacturer and the manufacturer is scamming all their customers trying to go through customer support. They received parts to replace but never send them the replacement and when they do it is broken with the same issues as the last.

From day ONE, every time we attempt to update something on this PC, we get a blank screen. It's some kind of hardware issue and every time we try to resolve it, Skytech Gaming tells us to reinstall windows (*******). The last time I was able to get someone on the phone (****) I was told to send a detailed email and they would get back to me. I have only received a confirmation of my sent email and have not been contacted since I sent it on October 5th. My son has been without a computer for weeks now and when I try to call I wait and wait only to be disconnected. When I tried asking for a callback, it never came. It's beyond belief that a company would do this. They are ghosting us and I feel like they want to warranty to run out. THAT isn't even legal. This is unacceptable that a ********************************** the house. I have never been ignored by a company like this before. As a consumer, I'm livid. I've never filed a complaint with the BBB before, but I'm not letting this one go. We are skeptical that repair would work, but we'd accept an attempt at least. Replacement or refund would be best.

I purchased a computer through amazon from this seller on dec 20 2021. my son didnt use it until Jan 2022, 3 days ago it suddenly stops working. I have tried several times to contact customer support for assitance. By phone it has taken over 3 hrs, and I am told "there are 3 calls ahead of you " then changes to " there are 5 calls ahead of you" and this goes on for over 2 hours and disconnects. I decided to email them and I get an auto generated response with video instructions on how to fix it myself. I am a single mom I dont know anything about gaming PCs and my son is 11!I decided to take it to the Geek Squad where I show them the computer description and they tell me the inside of it (hardware) does not look like whats being described on my purchase and proceed to tell me it would be over $500 to fix it. My son uses the computer maybe 2-3 hours a day. We always update and turn off correctly,. We take care of our things for it to stop working exactly when the warranty is expired! I also contacted Amazon and at first they said a refund was available and now they say its not possible. They couldnt even reach the seller either. this was a **** item. I would not care if it was ******* but MY computers tht was $700 still works fine after 5 years!!!! I am very upset and frustrated that I cant even get someone on the line to assist me! I have bought many electronic from amazon sellers and this is the worst experience. Now im am out of a computer , and might need to pay half of what it cost to fix it. !?!? I went to their site and they have an announcement which shows they have received a lot of complaints!

On November 14, 2022 I order a pre-built PC directly from Skytech Gaming. It was on sale for $1299.00. It shipped on 11/16 and I received it on 11/23. It was a Christmas present for my son, so it wasn't set up until the end on December. On 12/31/22 the LED lights on the front of the computer would glitch and go out. This was the reason for my first email to Skytech. I never received a response. On 1/5/23 my son was looking at the specs and realized that the computer was to include an AIO cooler, how inside his computer was an air cooler. These are completely different and are a significant price difference as well. Since I hadn't heard back, I called skytech. I was on hold for 3 & 1/2 hours. I then talked to ******* *****. We did a video call and he confirmed that we had an air cooler instead of an AIO cooler. He said they can send a replacement but I would have to install it myself. I thought this would be easier then having to return the computer, having it fixed, then sent back to me. I asked for some compensation for my time to fix it and *******'s manager approved a $20 refund. I waited for 2 weeks and no cooler has been sent and no refund had been issued. I emailed multiple times with no response. I also called but sometimes could not wait for hours on the phone. I finally got through on 1/17/23 and was issued the $20 refund and promised that the cooler would be shipped soon. It's been another 2 days and I still do no have confirmation that the cooler is being shipped. I emailed them again, they don’t respond. I am trying to call again today, but there are 64 callers ahead of me. This tells me that all of their products are sent out wrong. There is no other reason for the customer service line to be so busy. It is so difficult to get answers from this company. Most people don't have 3 hours to wait on hold. I think they try to scam the kids who are buying the computers, hoping they don't realize that they didn't get what they paid for. This was too expensive!
