1 starSouthern California Pre Owned should not be allowed to operate as a business. I caught them forging my signature. From reading the other comments, I believe this is a common practice at this establishment. I went in to purchase a vehicle that was displayed online. Decided to finance there at the dealership (biggest mistake made on my end.) Went home with the purchased vehicle and a stack of papers. Realized the next day that I was missing a copy of the loan agreement. I attempted to get a copy of the loan agreement for about a week and a half, speaking to several people and even going in person but was told that the manager was not there that day to print me a copy. Once I received a copy of the loan agreement, I was given 7 pages of a loan agreement that I had never seen. They changed the loan agreement from 60 months to 72 months, adding thousands of dollars to the loan. This document contained several attempts on my signature. When I asked them about these signatures, they claimed they were e-signatures, (none of the signatures were identical to each other, indicating that they were not e-signatures) but I never gave consent for the use of e-signatures. After a day of talking to several people who claimed to be managers ******************* they offered a full refund, which is exactly what I did. They refunded our down payment but were not able to reverse the the hard inquiry on my credit. Several weeks have gone by since I returned the vehicle and I have received several toll road tickets totaling $1,000. These people do not know what they are doing.Review fromChristopher Y

1 starThis dealership - Southern California Pre Owned in ******, ** - provided me the worst, most dishonest, diseptive larger-scale sales experience I have ever encountered. Ouright lying and shining me on tactics abounded after a sale in November last year. No spare key provided (but promised - these cost nearly $500), no covered carrier to ******** (as paid for with a $300 upcharge; car arrived to me soiled), only a drop of gas in the tank (inconsiderate at best), no temp tag provided (BS), more... I have called the dealer and spoke to the owner and my salesman no fewer than five times since my purchase and have been promised rectification each time with no results each occurence (shined on and lied to). How this business can be rated A- by BBB is eye-rolling to me. 0 StarsReview fromStarlet F

1 starI strongly advise against engaging with this company due to their unprofessionalism and inadequate communication practices. Initially, I was informed that I had been approved for financing while attempting to purchase a vehicle. However, following a significant delay in delivery, I signed the necessary paperwork but did not receive copies as promised. Despite numerous attempts to contact the designated representative, my efforts went unanswered.Subsequently, I discovered through the financing company that my application had been denied, despite my possession of the vehicle for two weeks. After a month of trying to establish communication with the company, I was notified that they would retrieve the vehicle, and I was assured that a refund for my down payment would be issued. On the same day as the vehicle pickup, I was finally contacted to provide my email address for the receipt of the ********* has now been two weeks since that communication, and I have yet to receive the refund. My calls and messages continue to go unanswered. It is perplexing how a company could inform me of my financing approval when I was, in fact, not approved, and then allow me to operate the vehicle for a month before notifying me of the denial. Furthermore, the company conducted additional credit checks without my consent, leading to 30 hard inquiries on my credit report, which has resulted in a significant decline in my credit ******** is undoubtedly frustrating that they have yet to refund my down payment, which was promised to me as a resolution to their error. Consequently, I am currently without a vehicle, face a substantial drop in my credit rating, and have not received the anticipated refund that should have been processed promptly following the vehicle's return.Review fromPEGGY I.

1 starI went to look at a vehicle and told the salesman I am not buying that day because I have to look at another similar vehicle elsewhere. He said he would lower the price by $2,000 if I would purchase his vehicle without looking at the other one. I agreed. He did not put that in the paperwork so when I went to the loan officer I signed all papers without understanding the numbers. Then, before leaving the dealership I showed the salesman that I couldn't see the $2,000 deduction from the sale price and he pointed to a number on the paper saying, "Yes it's right here!" and he ushered me out the door so I agreed. I found out when I got home that the $2,000 reduction in price was not included in the sale price so I contacted the loan officer who was only willing to go down $500; not the $2,000.Review fromAlicia A

1 starI was doing some online car shopping online and came across a car that I was more so interested in because of its unique color.I have excellent ************** to spend so I submitted an inquiry on the carmax app.The next day I received an email from ******* ******** answering my submission. I respectfully and kindly email him back asking about the price for the car because after doing much research on the car I noticed the car was overpriced, the Carfax history is horrible, multiple accidents, ect. I was still interested if the price was right. ******* basically told me No the price wasn't negotiable because of the brand and model of the car, however I kindly point out the horrible Carfax report of the car and he proceeded to go back and forth with me in a confrontational type of way telling me that I was making a mistake about it being over price,& that I needed to do more research on the car. So after feeling belittled by a car salesman. all he had to say was that he will look into the price and get back to me. now 2 WEEKS LATER I got a Notification from the Carmax app that the car price went down a few THOUSAND DOLLARS!!! within 2 weeks....so I reached out to ******* today because so I can inquired now about the price being lowered twice in the past 2 weeks after he told me that I was mistaken the price was right for the car and that I needed to go back and do more research on the car. After getting nowhere idecided to just call up to this dealership and see if I can speak to someone more I called &got ****** *******.I proceeded to tell him about the car that I was interested in but I also wanted to explain my thoughts and feelings on how I felt as a customer and the way ******* made me feel. ****** started off nice and quickly changed and was very rude to me i theb asked to speak to the ************ told me that they are all managers. ***** made me actually feel worse than *******. Don't shop here. Take your money somewhere else. These people are meanReview fromDoreen N

1 starCharged me $1500 over sticker which caused me to lose $4,000 in Used EV Tax credit. Don't buy from here. They are your typical used car dealership. I expressed my intent on getting EV Tax credit and purchasing vehicle under 25k multiple times. Despite that they add $1500 to sticker price (******) as accessory which pushed me over 25k making me ineligible for EV tax credit. They reported $26,250 to DMV. So 4k loss for me. Thanks guys, the old false advertisement/ Bait and switch. See photos for proof. The car they sold my had a broken tire pressure sensor. I drove 2 hours to get it fixed at their location. They took to some random tire shop down the street which didnt even have my part. So I had to drive 2 hours home with broken tire sensor despite making appointment weeks in advance. Then they never mailed the check to compensate me after I paid out of pocket to fix as it is a safety hazard. If you have an issue. Good luck getting ahold of anyone. I had to show up to get my check. An upset woman walked out before he met with me. This place is going is literally the worst. Thanks for burning me fellas. Save yourself time and hassle and go elsewhere. Again their ************ 4000 is tax credit. My mistake was trusting ****** and the team at Southern California Pre Owned when buying my TeslaReview fromRyan M

1 starUsed emasculation as a sales tactic to strong arm me into not using my co-signer. Told me that I don't need "mommy and daddy" to co-sign and that paying $575 dollars a month is somehow helping myself. As I attempted to explain my situation, for realistically the 6th or 7th time, both the sales rep and the manager just continued to railroad me into thinking their deal, that I did not ask for, is somehow better for me. Also was told that they cannot go with a credit union I am apart of because they won't get a kick back, verbatim. There is no way I would ever consider making a deal with this dealership. Later, over the phone, they called and asked how they could earn my business and I asked the out the door price of the vehicle and it was 6 grand more than the listed price.Review fromTim B

If you're a tier one buyer looking for something premium stay away and don't disrespect yourself. You deserve better. The location is a C, you dealing with kids. Can't test drive until you're credit's been inquired on. Then if you walk expect a call From someone trying to lecture you on "how they do business". At the end of the day it's my fault I know better then to visit an off brand ******************* dealer. Funny they can't be reviewed on ******* wonder why.Southern California Pre Owned
