      I have dealt with this contractor for over ten years and *************** go around of refurbishment have been satisfied However after this last refurbishment both patios front and rear looked worse than when they did before I called for my "5 year touchup"After 6 phone calls *** finally came out to inspect what his crew had left us with He stood there and shook his head and promised to have a crew out the following week and would only need one day as it was an easy fix~~After 2 weeks I started calling and leaving messages at both the home and "business" numbers with no response He obviously has blown us off after almost a year now I can only recommend that you stay as far away from this company as his business model has obviously changed as has his workmanship ********** 2/2/2024

      We had a horrible experience with Concrete By Design, as well.Water irrigation lines were broken and not repaired properly so we had a severe loss of proper pressure in the back yard and sprinkler heads that barely work. The back retaining wall was not repaired of its flaws in their application of texture and will need to be redone. The concrete laid in two back corners of patio were finished improperly so that we had severe elevation and drainage issues. The work completed has been of consistently poor workmanship with little to no oversight and management of the contractor. We have had to call him to have the work corrected along the way such as pavement guides that were improperly done, the sprinkler issues, poor quality of the retaining wall repairs...etc. We were told by neighbors and other contractors that the equipment supplies added for French drains were actually shower drains. We have had to question the work listed in the contract matching with the execution by his workers. This is what lead to the argument and him pulling his guys. When I called with questions of work being completed by his men that were now at a critical stage, *** got angry and started screaming at us, he said "things were getting too weird", "he was done", refusing to come over and inspect the work, and then pulled his men from the work site at our residence. We tried to resolve things that night, but he refused to answer the email. The next day, he sent an email stating that he was ready to work again with no apology! He also had called stating he would now send over the more "experienced crew"! After the work was already at a stage beyond repair. STEER CLEAR-------
