AWFUL! SHADY! DISHONEST! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! This company was assigned to us by our home warranty company to replace our AC unit in October of 2021. I had to follow up in January after not hearing from them. Our unit was on back order supposedly. The unit was installed in early Spring and caused water damage to my ceiling after the first use. I had to reopen a claim for them to come fix it. They claimed it was a manufacturer's defect. What actually happened was that the tech installed a p-trap which had an exit higher than the entrance. Since water doesn't flow uphill, it leaked. Had it been a manufacturer's defect, the drip pan would have caught it. To "fix" this mess, they created some garbage out of PVC and an abundance of blue glue/sealant. The PVC was fitted together so poorly and at such bad angles that the "fix" still leaked through the sealant. Of course more damaged was caused to my ceiling. After 6 months and the 5th trip to my residence, they fixed it and ordeal number #1 was FINALLY over and everything was finally in working order. Then began ordeal #2- getting my ceiling patched and repainted. It is now November 2022 and my wife and I have given the owner many opportunities to correct his mistake. He has stood us up when we've taken time off of work to see the damage; he's made a verbal agreement to fix the damages; he's blamed the manufacturer and told us to pursue our claim with them; he has never once reached out to us; they told us they are so far away that they are having trouble finding a contractor in our area (yet they took the job in the first place and we Googled contractors in our area while on the phone with them and found no less than 10); he told us to find a contractor ourselves and he would pay whatever the cost; we submitted the estimate to him, and now he cannot be reached by the office manager. IF YOU VALUE YOUR HOME, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I have pictures to back all of this up.

UNETHICAL - SCAMMING HOME WARRANTY CUSTOMERS TO GET MORE $$$ DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM OR CINCH HOME SERVICES DBA TOTAL PROTECT They are scamming customers on insurance claims. They submit claims that have several MODIFICATIONS so the consumer is held responsible to pay becuase the insurance will deny MODFICATIONS. On a water heater claim they added all these items and the insurance wanted me to pay them $2317.50 for them, these are items necessary to replace a water heater and if they did not use the work Modification in their claim to the warranty company they would have been paid by the insurance, instead they inflated the costs and passed them on to us. A standard water heater in California and nationwide is approximately $1500 that includes water heater and labor. They refused to explain why these items were needed only provided a list that doesn't add up to what the insurance company told me I was responsible in paying, so I know if I paid them they would hold me for more at time of install. T&P modifications $125 - WOULD NOT EXPLAIN WHAT THIS IS Hot/Cold Line modifications $130 - NOT NECESSARY AND WOULD NOT EXPLAIN WHY? Exhaust Vent Line modifications $110- NOT NECESSARY AND WOULD NOT EXPLAIN WHY? Modify Earthquake Straps $40 - ALREADY HAD THEM AND WERE IN GREAT SHAPE Gas Supply Line $65 - HAD A SUPPLY LINE ALREADY WITH NO DAMAGE - IF THIS IS NECESSARY WHEN REPLACING INSURANCE SHOULD PAY Gas Shutoff $135 - THIS HAS TO BE DONE TO REPLACE WATER HEATER IS IS PART OF THE LABOR THEY GOT PAID BY INSURANCE Gas Sediment Trap$150 - already had this part and verified did not need to be replaced Permit$500-Water heater permit in our City is $32 if needed and this company did not hold a business license as well Disposal-$65 Second Man $125.50-this is standard labor that insurance was paying them for. They are scamming customers on emergency insurance claims. DO NOT USE THEM -
