On Sunday May 18 PM I ***** ***** bit down on a hard pointy foreign object in the food at ****** King in ****** ***** breaking off a large portion of one of my teeth. Their insurance is ignoring and avoiding me after they have offered zero help. It was their client that caused my injury. I was treated as a liar from the moment I talked to ******** ******* with Next Insurance. ******** ******* is very unprofessional and extremely hateful to be a representative of ANY kind. Worst customer service ethics Ive ever encountered with any company. Needless to say they arent doing anything about my injury either. I guess their plan is to just ignore it. All I wanted was my tooth fixed but I am now seeking legal counsel against them. ******.Business Response

I had to cancel a policy NXT3DRKFTV-00-WC due to it being classified incorrectly. A new Policy was put into effect for me on May 20th 2025. I then received an email saying that I needed to complete an Audit for my recently closed policy and was given a deadline of 10 days to complete this task. I followed the directions in the email and discovered there is information incorrect that it will not let me fix on my own and says to contact an Audit Specialist which I have relentlessly tried to do for 8 days now. Their customer service is severely lacking. Their phone lines are completely closed during lunch time which boggles my mind. Then when you call in the morning or after lunch you are left on hold for over an hour and then it just hangs up on you. When I try to use the chat feature the agent tells me that they are not authorized to help me and that I need to reach out to an Audit Specialist. I am given an email and phone number BOTH of which I have tried to reach someone to no avail. This is a vicious loop with no end. After being on hold for over an hour today an Audit Specialist finally answers only to put me on hold again and then the call gets disconnected. Absolutely not, I am not calling again to be on hold for hours. My Audit will not be completed on time due to the horrendous customer service at **********************. No one can help you and then they just place you on hold till you get disconnected.Business Response

Next Insurance refuses to create a claim and will not connect me with a higher level supervisor. **** Ann ***** leaves voicemail, dodges calls. I have a policy covering me for general liability and the claim is valid. They are crooks! Headquarters is ********* is a 10 million dollar location, being bought by Munich for $2.5 billion in Match 2025; they steal your money and run when you need them.Business Response

I have been trying to get ahold of someone for the past few weeks and it has been next to impossible. I always get transferred to someone whos not available. I had a ticket and was emailed, I responded and didnt hear anything back. I was told by an employee that my ticket mustve slipped under the rug. So I made an appointment with my account manager for today at 2:15pm surprise surprise I didnt receive a call. I have two workmens comp policys at once that expired yesterday and Im trying to start a new policy. I need this for my business to be compliant with the law. Im beyond aggravated.Business Response

I paid for business insurance through the next website. I was supposed to get an email with the details and proof of insurance that I had just paid for. I received no email, when I try to log in to the website, it doesn't recognize my phone number or my email address. They took money for the I surance I needed for a job I am doing today..I lost the job ,I have no insurance , I lost my money. I can't get in touch with a live agent. The bot keeps saying the same thing to any question about them being too busy to respond. They weren't too busy to take money.Business Response

Complaint Against Next Insurance Unauthorized Charges and Denial of *************** Next Insurance Type of Policy: Workers Compensation Policy Term Billed: March 2024 March 2025 Refund Amount Requested: Approx. $6,500 I am filing this complaint due to Next Insurances refusal to issue a refund for a Workers Compensation policy that my business did not need and explicitly *********** early 2024, I obtained a Workers Compensation policy through Next Insurance. After further review of Florida law, I learned that Workers Compensation is only legally required for non-construction businesses with four (4) or more employees. My company does not meet this threshold, nor are we in the construction industry. Once I confirmed this, I canceled the policy and submitted written notice explicitly stating that no further charges were to be withdrawn from my account.Despite this, **********************: Withdrew approximately $2,000 in initial premiums prior to cancellation. Later conducted an audit and debited my account an additional ~$4,500, claiming it was retroactive coverage for March 2024 through March 2025a time period that had already ended at the time of billing. No claims were ever filed, and my company received zero benefit from the policy.This final withdrawal was unauthorized, unjustified, and placed my business in financial hardship. It is unethical and potentially unlawful to force coverage on a business not legally required to carry it, and then bill for it retroactively after cancellation and without consent.I have made multiple attempts to resolve this directly with Next Insurance, but they have refused to issue a refund or even acknowledge the violation of my clear cancellation and no-charge authorization directive.I am requesting: A full refund of all premiums paid to date (~$6,500 total)Thank you for your attention to this matter.Business Response

I rarely file formal complaints, but as a full-time pastor and Christian, I feel morally obligated to share my experience to protect others. Please hear and heed this warning.NEXT Insurance offers low-cost coverage for contractors, but in my case, their service failed completely. Before hiring my contractor, I contacted NEXT directly to verify his insurance. They confirmed $1 million in liability coverage and $10,000 for errors, with no mention of any job-size limitation.Had I known they excluded jobs over $5,000, I never would have hired this contractor for a $10,000 project. The situation quickly worsened: the contractor tore off my siding, was arrested for drug-related charges, and stole $3,000 worth of materials. Yet NEXT refused to provide any support.I didnt even ask for full compensationjust $3,900, less than half the total loss. They still denied the claim *********** a pastor, I value integrity and accountability. Consumers should know that if a contractor is insured by NEXT, the company may not disclose crucial policy limits up frontand they may not honor valid claims when issues arise. The coverage may be cheap, but it can prove worthless when you need it most.Please be extremely cautious if you encounter a contractor insured by NEXT.
