    Hello, I purchased a RC airplane from General Hobby on April 5th, 2025. Order # ***** Type of airplane a B-17 Flying Fortress 1875mm Brushless Warbird PNP V2 Silver. I paid $342.92 plus $65.60 in shipping which is okay. I received this item on April 11th, 2025, upon opening my package I discovered that I was missing a part for the airplane, so I immediately went to contact the company of this issue using the contact phone number that they provide at the bottom of their web page ***************) this number does not exist. so, then I used their email contact form, and told them I`m missing a part for my plane. One week passed and no response. So, I sent out a second and a third email to them (General Hobby) No response. They received all my emails because each email said that they received it and that they will respond soon. I`m afraid to return it because I will maybe not see my refunded money, So I kept the product without my part. The part that is missing is called a "Chin ******* that mounts on the bottom of the fuselage. I'm upset with this company because of the fact that they can take my money and not respond to their customers if there is an issue with their order! Their web site says 100% Guarantee. I don't think so! I just want my part!

    I purchased a remote control airplane from General Hobby, **********************************************, www.generalhobby.com, ******************************* on 5/8/2024, order # *****, $199.97 plus $45.03 shipping = $245.00. Specifically, it is a TopRC Hawker Hurricane 750mm plane. The plane is defective! I have never been able to fly it. When I hooked up the 1000 mAh 7.4V battery that came with the plane, it heated up immediately to a very high heat where the battery connection plugs into the wiring connection of the plane, and fried the connection. It burned my hand (lucky it didnt start a fire!!), and it melted the battery connector! That battery is unusable now. Luckily I had a comparable spare battery, and when I plugged it into the plane, the same thing happened, and it ruined that battery too! The Electronic Speed Controller (ESC) in the plane is bad too. Obviously the plane is defective, and unflyable! Even the wiring connector on the plane (that plugs into the battery connector) came apart, when everything heated up so hot, so quickly. I have written to them before about this plane, both through their online form, and via email to ****************************** and I also called them at ************ and left a message (mostly, no responses). I have been contacting them repeatedly and trying to get an actionable response since May 15, 2024. Due to my previous inquiries, ********************* at General Hobby ********************* has repeatedly been making vague, empty promises to send replacement parts. He has been making these empty promises since July 2nd, that he will send a replacement ESC and 2 replacement batteries to me. It is now August 29th and I still have received NOTHING! At this point, they have proven their arrogance and unreliability, and this plane is defective. I deserve a full refund, including shipping costs, to total $245.00; or send a new, same complete airplane (same model) that is not defective and actually works (and they cover all the shipping costs)!

    I purchased a 4 motor B17 from GH. I found that the motors failed right away. I tried their methods of contact with no response. I tried calling but only got a recording. So i left my issue on recording. no response.. i have left several phone messages, no response. I have used their email method, no response. I ordered replacements and they emailed me that it shipped ***** When i tracked the number given it said that a ticket was prepared but NOT SHIPPED. I drove to their facility which is controlled by a guard and was not allowed to enter. It is not a store front but a warehouse. It is impossible to get any direct contact. They are the worst company i have ever dealt with, bar none. Try their phone and you will see my issue.

    A RC Plane was purchased.. an ECS which is part of the plane to make it fly.. did not work. Called the business several times and phone message states they are unavailable... I have written several times via email asking for a replacement for the **** Absolutely no response whatsoever... All I am asking for is a replacement ECS for the malfunctioning one that came with the plane. The plane was a "Hawker Hurricane".

    On 3-31-23 I ordered a fuse lodge , on 4-3-23 I received an email stating they were out of stock. I have made multiple attempts to contact them about the order #*****. I have received no answer on phone message or email. I just want my money back.

    I ordered a model airplane off the General Hobby website in September 2022. Website said in stock. I immediately received a shipping ID number. In November 2022, a reply to my fourth email was received. It said product would ship in one week. However, it is now January 2023 and I have not received anything.

    I made an online purchase seven weeks ago, but received no invoice, and by now, no merchandise. My credit card statement from that period shows the payment did go thru to General Hobby, but I have had no replies to various emails and phone messages. My credit card company is looking into the matter, but if the vendor is non-responsive, the card company says I will still be charged for the purchase anyway.

    Nov 25th, 2022, I ordered a part and paid via **** including shipping to ******. Order# *****. I have not received any tracking info about shipping nor have I received the part. Today is Dec 30th and 4 emails and 2 phone calls later absolutely no response from them.I will pursue a **** refund next week if possible.Don't ever buy from these people.

    Ordered an airplane on September 21st and nothing after 5 weeks. 3 emails send...NO REPLIES
    The appear to be a form of scamming company in the RC hobby world.
    Will be requesting suggestions from my credit card company and will file a complaint with the Commercial Crime division of the Canadian RCMP.
