    I purchased a Flyfly BAE Hawk 90mm EDF Electric RC Jet Kit several years ago. I did complete the kit, but I found so many cheap characteristics about the air frame that I did not want to fly it because it was not safe enough: cheap foam, weak linkages, and incomplete parts that I had to substitute myself just to get it done! I never got a reply from this organization about the inadequacies and missing parts. I absolutely do not recommend this RC model-selling firm to any person who wants to start off on the right foot. Go with Freewing instead. So now the model sits in a quiet room upstairs in my house, only to be looked atjust a rather expensive conversation piece. A conversation about a mistake I made with General Hobby.

    Disappointed about General Hobby!Bought an RC aircraft which flies well. However I am disappointed about the quality and the finish of this aircraft. The windows are badly glowed in and had to be redone. The rudder/elevator horns are not robust enough, broke and had to be replaced while the elevator pushrod is too short and needed replacement as well I fixed all this before first flight.The bigger problem that I could not resolve is the unreliability of the landing gear. Both main gear fails to retract/extend every 2nd or 3rd cycle and sometimes gets stuck in a 45 degree position... The nose landing gear retracts/extends well but has a lot of play when extended, almost of an inch (forward/backward) which I believe is not as it should be.That said, I tried to call General Hobby a few times but could not get through. 5 emails remain unanswered at the time of writing! Seems that General Hobby does not care about the quality they sell nor about customer service, well there is no customer service as they don't answer!

    This is a dishonest seller Ordered item **** advised out of stock Requested refund. No reply then a msg came item will be back in stock in 3 weeks. Needed for a birthday present could not wait that long. Keep sending request for refund no response. Seller held my money and then 3 weeks later shipped item of which I did not need anymore. Returned item for refund will see what he does know. At time of shipping I again told him not to ship but he still did. It could have been stopped at that time but this seller is bad
