    I purchased a phone number from number barn through their website. However, the number appears to have belonged to someone else previously, which has caused significant issues. Specifically, I am unable to register the number with my bank and other accounts due to ownership conflicts tied to the number's prior usage.I contacted the company for a resolution, they says that I had ported the number to a new service provider and advised me to contact that provider for assistance. However, my new provider cannot resolve this issue because they did not sell me the number.I have requested a simple exchange for a different number that does not have these issues. Despite this reasonable request, the company has refused to assist.

    I recently had the opportunity to engage with Number Barn's services, and regrettably, my experience has left much to be desired. Several aspects of their service have raised concerns and left me with a negative impression.Firstly, I found the customer service emails to be notably subpar in terms of grammar and overall professionalism. Communication is a crucial aspect of any service, and encountering such lapses in language proficiency is disconcerting. It undermines the credibility of the company and raises questions about the attention to detail within the organization.Moreover, I was disappointed to discover a hidden fee associated with porting numbers into ****** Voice. It was only after making a purchase that I learned an upgrade to a specific plan is required for call forwarding or to avail of unlimited text messaging. This lack of transparency in disclosing additional charges before the purchase is misleading and does not align with standard business practices. Customers should be fully informed about any potential extra costs associated with the services they are considering.Given the considerable cost of acquiring a number, it is disheartening to learn that not all numbers are eligible for porting out. I believe this feature should be testable before making a purchase, allowing potential customers to assess the feasibility of their intended use.Furthermore, there is a concern about the company's location and potential security risks. While it may be indicated that the company is outside of America, there is a broader apprehension that sensitive information might be at risk of being mishandled or misused. Customers should be made aware of the company's location and the measures in place to safeguard their data.Prospective buyers should exercise caution and carefully consider these aspects before engaging with Number Barn's services. I will not be using them again.

    Hello ******, I'm very sorry to hear of your subpar experience with NumberBarn. I wanted to respond specifically to your concerns about porting a number to ****** Voice. In this case, the issue is that NumberBarn numbers are classified as landline/wireline and ****** will not allow you to port such a number directly to them unless you are a paid ****** Workspace customer. ********************** has documented this issue and provided a workaround that does carry an additional cost. Albeit this cause is not assessed by NumberBarn but by a wireless carrier you would port to before porting to ******.In addition, I want to confirm that NumberBarn is 100% located in **************************** -- specifically *********, **********. I would appreciate you helping ** better understand where you might have seen otherwise. I've looked for correspondence in our system and am unable to find records that you've been in contact with our customer support team previously leading me to believe that ************************* may not be your real name. Please feel free to contact us and put "Attention: ******" somewhere in your email and I'll be happy to personally respond to you.

    I paid for a custom phone number that cost me $300. Now my phone company can't port it over. They have tried several times and different ways. They now say that it's because no one at Number Barn is approving or doing anything with the Port request?? No phone number to get ahold of anyone at number barn. I emailed them through the customer service and no one has responded at all! I am Beyond frustrated! I am trying to start promoting a new business with a Vanity phone number and can't do it until the $300 phone number ports over. No Help at all from Number Barn. USE SOMEONE ELSE!! I WISH I DID... Unfortunately I have business cards ordered with that phone number I paid for, business paperwork ect. I have had it!!!
