I was sent a bill from the Daily Bulletin that was not legitimate because I told them to cancel back in 2024 when this originally happened.I called them and they told me that they would go ahead and cancel that bill if I signed up for a new on line subscription at a price of $2.00 for 6 months, I agreed. Then I got another bill for the same issue and when I called them they said they would take care of it. Next they called me about the past due bill and again offered me the same deal on the 6 month subscription for $2.00 Again I agreed and told them that I had previously agreed to this already and they said they would take care of it.I monitor my bank statement on line almost daily and I found 7 entries for $2.00 and 6 entries for 31 cents all to the Daily Bulletin.I contacted them 3 times via email about this. I got an email on 3-18-25 saying that the rate changed to 3.50 per week or $14 for 4 weeks. This is classic Bait and Switch Finally they said that they would now honor the rate of $2.00 for 6 months after I told them I was going to contact the BBB. They are now aware that I am contacting you.I told them to cancel any and all subscriptions for the Daily Bulletin even though they already took the $2.00 charge which I did not dispute with my bank. I disputed all of the multiple charges with my bank.Daily Bulletin needs to know that this practice of Bait and Switch is unacceptable.

Thank you for contacting us regarding your digital subscription to The Inland Valley Daily Bulletin.

Our subscriptions renew automatically until we hear from a subscriber. This is outlined in the terms and conditions which were provided when you placed your subscription order back in May 2023. The most recent charge of $2.00 was disputed, as you mention. The account is now inactive, your credit card info has been removed from the account, which ensures no future charging renewal payments.

Please let me know if you would like your digital subscription to resume. To help turn this situation around, I would be happy to offer 26 week complimentary service.
