I used this business (through Shiply.com- who says they can't help) to arrange a transport of an item to my home. The item was picked up from a retail store by an "insured carrier" per our contact on July 26th, 2024. I was notified on 7/28/24 that the item had fallen off the truck and had been returned to the store. The store was unwilling to accept the item due the damage. They just left it at the store (they sent me pictures and communicated via text/email). They asked for information to file an insurance claim, which I gave them promptly. Since, they have refused to answer my emails, calls, and online requests for further information about getting a refund. I paid the business $350 and was to pay the rest upon delivery. The damaged item cost me $659. I would like to know why I have yet to receive a refund after waiting months (the contract I signed says it may take a few weeks). I'm also not pleased that I paid the company $350 for nothing also but unsure if I can get that back. I don't know what to do. I attached the paperwork, but not sure if it uploaded correctly.

On March 31st I had a couch and coffee table picked up from NJ to the military base where I am stationed at in VA. I was promised the driver would be able to load the couch, unload the couch, and also be able to get onto the military base.
When he arrived to my house in NJ, my 65 yr old, disabled mother had to help him load the couch. When he arrived in VA he had a criminal record and could not get onto base. My husband had to go pick up the moving truck and we had to unload the furniture ourselves. As soon as we opened the truck we saw that the couch was destroyed with black grease and stains all over it. The couch was in perfect condition when it left NJ. This company is barely communicating with me, and will not give me what my couch was worth before it was picked up in NJ.
