I ordered a cold air intake off their website. Their website is a little misleading. You put your vehicle information in and list the products but those aren't necessarily the product for your vehicle. Anyway I got the wrong one. I called them up. I gotta return number I shipped it back on my $80. Im waiting for a refund which they said I would get after two weeks. I called several times emailed several times which I finally talkedto somebody and they said oh a cold air intake could take four weeks to get your money back well now whats going on five weeks Still no money back and its not like its a few dollars its $450Business Response

Purchased an air filter through them. I order one that cost over $100 and received one of there $50 ones that was defective on top of it. Ive tried for 2 weeks to get my money back and they refuse or make excuses about it being ******* fault.Business Response

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********. While I did receive a refund, it was not from the company it was from ******. They tried to blame ****** for not being able to refund me. I was in contact with ****** and they never were contacted by K&n nor did they respond to their call when trying to contact them. Issue resolved yes but not by K&N.

Two HVAC filters. I purchased two HVAC filters for my home furnace. I found out later that day that I shouldn't use those type in my furnace. I contacted K & N Engineering for a refund as they had not shipped yet. The next day I was told they had already shipped and I would need to return them when they arrive. I was told that I would need a label from *** EX to return to sender. I contacted ************************* and was denied a label . I was given directions as to how to return these filters but ***** informed me that was not the correct way to return products. ( I had never returned before).. ************ should send me a return label because it is what FED EX needs in order to return these 2 products. I can provide the full email communication, if needed. Good afternoon,
I would like to thank you, Better Business Bureau, for your assistance in this matter.
K&N Engineering and myself have corresponded several times by email, which I personally have in my possession, but with no success. I will appreciate a reply with an offer of acceptance from them versus more time passing by. The first email I wrote to them, was replied to, with instructions for return. I followed them and ***** did not accept these instructions. I proceeded to let K&N Engineering know this. The following several messages to me were several more different instructions for return. ***** also did not accept their instructions or tracking numbers I was provided.
They do have a 30 day return policy and days were passing by with absolutely no resolution.

As per K&Ns return policy, which you can view here (*********************************************************), we accept returns within 30 days of purchase for a full refund, provided the items are unused and a return authorization number has been issued. Our policy also specifies that return shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer.
We are happy to accept the items for a full refund and will waive the restocking fee as a gesture of goodwill. However, we regret that we cannot cover the cost of return shipping.

I ordered an intake set for my 2025 ******* Elantra through the Hooksett NH autozone. K&N sent two kits in a row with no hardware whatsoever. If two for two sets came with no hardware, more likely than not EVERY KIT for a ***** ******* ELANTRA is missing its hardware. Two in a row with no hardware is unacceptable. I have had my car apart now for two whole weeks waiting for a few bolts and hose clamps. This is absolutely absurd and this company needs to get there stuff together.Business Response

I placed an order on an item on November 8, 2024, and paid an additional $23.43 for overnight shipping from ***** and I have not received the product as of yet. Placed order (#**********) on 8/14/24 with K&N Engineering forHigh-Flow Original Lifetime Engine Air *********************************** (SKU: HD-1388). Total cost was$68.47 The item shipped on 8/16/24 (Shipment #***********) via ***** (Tracking Number ************). The box did not include any materials regarding the order or how to return or exchange it.8/20 - Sent first email about returning the product - as it did not fit my 1999 ************************* (as directed by the order email and by the website) to *********************************** 8/26 - Sent a follow-up email after receiving no response 8/27 - As an extra step, I filled out the "Contact Us" form on their website - noting that I had emailed twice at this point and would like directions as to return this item 8/28 - I received an email from K&N about returning my order (in response to my original email from 8/20). I was provided with a Return Authorization number and told that I would receive a return label directly from ***** (via email). They made it clear that it might take 7 days to receive the label from ***** - but they must receive the return by 30 days from the date of this email (so, by 9/28).9/4 - I replied to the 8/28 email from them - letting them know that I still had not received the return label and that the item was ready to be returned as soon as I received it. (No response)9/12 - I again replied to that email thread alerting them that it had been 2 weeks since I was told that I would be receiving a return label from ***** and I have not received said label. (No response)9/16 - I again replied to that email thread requesting information on the label and that they acknowledge receipt. Contacted K&N on May 8th received the shipping label May 10th based ofc of ***** shipping they had it in may 12 contact them on May 17th to ask them what's going on they replied it takes several weeks to process a refund that I should have it by the 29th of May well that day came and went still no refund contacted them again then was told then it can take of to 4 weeks to get a refund this is not ok I have contacted them several times with the same response I want my money back! Started the process November 11 and have been ignored. I have the 57-1553 performance intake system and the filter has started deteriorating as well as vibration has caused the wires to wear and and has holes in it.Supposed to be lifetime warranty.
