      Absolutely terrible service. Holds your money with zero explanation as to why. **************** is a joke. Won't answer questions regarding why they held a zelle payment for almost a week. Will never use this bank or recommend them to anyone. They just take your money and post deposits days after to charge you overdraft fees. I banked with ************* for over 20 years never had an issue or question go unanswered. Then provident took over and my banking experience with them has been a nightmare.

      If I could give this bank 0 stars, I would! NEVER EVER bank with Provident! I have NEVER had so much ************ with a bank in my 50 years of banking! I am in charge of paying my elderly parents bills, as my parents feel it is time for me to take over this task 4 them. (Like I needed the added stress.) I am also ***** of Atty. *** lawyer assured us we should never have any issues with their bank. ***y couldn't add me 2 their account due 2 my Dad losing his CA Senior ID. *** bank said my ******* need an account together, HUGE mistake! My ******* have had nothing but trouble trying 2 sign in to online banking. Numerous calls 2 & from them have solved NOTHING! My mom will TRY 2 sign into the accounts, she finally asks me if she is doing something wrong, I watch her & no, it won't let her. Call for help, what a Cluster F that was! ***n a day later, the same thing. We call the *********** say they locked us out because they assumed I might be trying to sign in & not my mom, WTAF!?!? *** bank is NOT to ASSUME anything! ***y could have called & asked her if she was signing in & not just shut down everything. This has been going on 4 a few months! A few days ago my Mom once again tried signing on without my help & was locked out again, for the 'too many times to count' time. To reset everything she needs 2 reset password, etc. while attempting this, which requires her email address, she now has messed up her login for her email. Now it can't be done online, she calls the bank 4 help, or should I say "no help". Now it states that her user name is inactivated & 2 contact the bank AGAIN. She does, and again, no help. *** bank then calls me & says I need to set up my own *************** name... fine! I do what they ask & NOT SHOCKING AT ALL, it declines me for an online account. As of now, neither of us can sign on, meaning the bills r not getting paid! Is Provident going 2 pay the late fees or STOP the harassment? My bet is No! It has been h*** dealing with Provident!
