On 6/6/22, I went driving to Moss Bross dealership and I left my car there for an oil change and to be checked because engine light was tuned on. They told me it could take 3 days to have my car ready and the diagnosis cost would be $199. So I decided to rent a car by my own for 3 days.
After 3 days, I called and they didn't know how long it would take to have my car ready. The Services Director Mr. ********* he offered to pay the rental car starting 6/9/22 until my car got repaired. Around a week after they called me and said my car wasn't turning on any more and needed an internal engine inspection but the cost will be $3,500 for the diagnosis, Also I noticed they charged the rental car in my final bill.
So the diagnosis for my car was a damaged for One injector, the gasket and the starter, so for the repairs and diagnosis I paid the full amount of $4,817.46 in labor, parts $807.73 plus rental car they offered me $480 and tax$70.68
I'm in disagreement with the high prices they charged me and the rental car they included in my bill. Also they caused me big headaches, very frustrating days, feeling upset and overall a really bad experience. Mrs. ********* treated me verbally very rude, very disrespectful and very angry.
I sent a letter requesting a refund for the rental car and also the high prices they charged me.

      Dear BBB,

On 07/22/2022, I went into Moss Bros Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Riverside to purchase a New 2022 Dodge Charger. At the time of purchase, ******* M. and his "Sales Manager" **** mentioned the vehicle came equipped with a dealer installed alarm which was non negotiable. After inspecting the vehicle they both told me the alarm would be activated by the service department which was closed at that time since it was after 5 PM that day. They were adamant that the alarm module along with other accessories were already in the vehicle but just needed to be activated.

I was told to bring the vehicle back for the work to be done. Since then, it has been a constant back and forth with me being told to come back a different day with a different story each time I showed up. I took some time off work to drop the vehicle off at 7 am on 08/01/2022 to have the alarm activated by the service department. Upon picking up the vehicle that same day, the service advisor ***** G. told me the work was done and the alarm was activated and would work like alarm should and sound off with any shocks to the car, window break, and attempted entry without disarming the alarm. I tested the shock and opened the door without disarming nothing happened. I went to find **** who tested it himself and confirmed the alarm did not work. I was given yet another story and told to come back but to call before coming. I called today 08/03/2022 and all attempts to reach *****, ****, **** (another sales agent who was present at the sale of the vehicle), or ******* M. have proven futile.

At this point I would like this dealership to refund the money for the alarm ($481.03) as they have no intention of installing or activating an alarm as it appears there is no alarm to install or activate. I would like to avoid visiting this dealership hence forth as there has been paint damage (i.e. nicks and a scratch) to my vehicle after taking it in on 08/01/2022.

      Thank you
