Monte Christo management states that I received through mail a 90 day notice for rent increase. Upon reaching out to manager and speaking with supervisor, I informed both that I did not receive any notice for rent increase. I was explained that corporate sent the notice by mail and it shows on their end as delivered, however, I did not receive this notice. I was informed there was nothing that could be done. I was given no negotiation about the possibility of sending out a new 90 day notice and being able to start from that new date for the rental increase. Upon reviewing Monte Christo Community website and other sites, it states that this company is "founded on ethical principles" as well as providing a prayer hotline. What purpose does this prayers hotline serve? This description does not align with my personal experience with this management company.

I owe a trailer park money, was served lawsuit papers. Mgmt won't return my calls, text, or answer their business door or apartment door. I called their attorney, he verbally provided a total that seemed too high. He has bullied me with a phony, loud, demanding, ***** voice, over-speaking with condescending demeaning backhanded metaphor remarks. He held me phone hostage, forced to listen to his verbal abuse while all I wanted to do was pay. He said total due did not include a $1,700 cashier's ck dropped in office rent slot a few weeks ago. After he called "them" he said **** mailed payment back to me - it was less than total amount due. I said that it doesn't make sense; they want their money. He said he didn't know about it and would have told them to do the same thing. I asked where it was mailed. He said most likely to trailer park address. I said they knew I didn't get mail there after my mailbox was broken into 3 times, I was forced to rent a POB. I was not given a new mailbox key. Nobody called for address. Lawsuit docs state I can pay online or the office. They blocked both. They have my email, I offered to him for list of charges and he pointed out that they would not give me a copy of the charges, that they aren't required to, and that I need to pay it. (his verbal amount). And contact the bank to stop payment, get another ck. I said ask the landlord to look in the mailbox they have the key. He made some snitty, condescending platitude and repeatedly demanded you need to pay it. I told the attorney that if he continues to speak to me like that, I will turn this over to my real estate attorney, who I have on retainer. I prefer to avoid involving him and wasting money. He refused to provide me with an itemized list of charges. He continued so I hung up. BBB please help. I need itemized list of charges late rent, utilities, attorney fees, etc. And copies of all billing statements rented there. Where can I pay? Thank you for anything you can do.
