      Dear Better Business Bureau,I am filing a complaint against 1StopLighting due to an issue regarding their return policy and lack of transparency. I ordered a product from them under order number ********, relying on their websites assurances that they strive to provide [customers] with high-quality products and a seamless shopping experience, and recognizing that it can sometimes be hard to tell if a product is the right fit from a few pictures online. The products I received were of unexpectedly poor quality and did not meet the standards I had assumed based on the companys website.When I requested a return, I was told that I would need to cover the costs for the return shipping, which had not been communicated clearly prior to the purchase. This policy only became visible once I initiated the return, making it difficult for customers to understand their full financial responsibility before ************* an established online retailer, 1StopLighting should be transparent with policies and uphold its commitment to customer satisfaction. I am asking for the BBBs assistance in prompting 1StopLighting to provide fair and upfront return options, including free returns, for products that do not meet quality expectations. I believe these changes are in the best interest of the consumer and would prevent similar experiences for future customers.Thank you for reviewing my concerns.Sincerely,******* *****

      Hi there ***, we do cover returns if something is damaged or defective - was there something wrong with the item or it was just not like you expected? If an item is returned due to preference, we do not cover return shipping. Our return policy is found here: ****************************************************************

      In addition, these items were delivered on 8/22. We opened a return request for you on 9/11 but we did not receive the items back within 30 days, so your return was denied and closed.

      I ordered and received a fan/ light unit in July.The unit does not have a receiver. It is inoperable and it is not a replaceable part. The company 1 stop lighting only responds via chat or email. I have been trying to get a new unit sent to me to no avail. I spoke with the manufacturer of the light and they said to tell 1 stop lighting the must replace per *********** is so frustrating to not be able to communicate with any one and the remote control they sent to me does not fix the problem.I need a replacement fan/light.Please help **********

      After reviewing your order, I can confirm that it was placed on 10/13. Your card was flagged in our system for fraud review, which caused a brief delay. Once approved on 10/14, a confirmation email was sent to [email protected], and our records show that it was successfully delivered.
      You requested to cancel the order on 10/16, but at that time, the item had already shipped via FedEx (tracking number 416863012490) and was delivered on 10/15, a day before your cancellation request.
      If you would like to proceed with a return, please let us know, and we will initiate the process. Once we receive the item back, a refund will be issued.

      it - that was about a week ago and I have heard nothing, and gotten NO CORRESPONDENCE regarding my missing fixture. When I try to look up my invoice number, the site says there is nothing found with that number. At this point, I either want another one sent without charging me, or a complete REFUND for the item they seem unwilling to send me. When I tried to request a replacement, I filled out the form, but it would not allow me to go to "next" to file. Overall - totally bogus and worthless. I cannot imagine how there can be any good reviews after the roadblocks I am running into trying to get something done.

      Ordered three lights online from ************************** . Original expected ship date was 10/2/24. Received an email the following say product was back ordered until 11/29/24. That does not meet the time frame I have to work with. I tried to contact customer service via the phone number on the website. Recording informed me they went to an all digital platform and that I had to file a ticket with their online help desk. I did as instructed, filled out the online form asking to cancel the order and refund my money on 9/18/24. Got a auto generated email reply telling me someone would be back in touch within eight business hours. It is now 9/23/24. I sent two more emails inquiries on the status of the refund and I have not gotten an acknowledgement or reply. As stated there is no way to get a live person or even a chat bot on the site. I simply would like my order cancelled and the purchase price paid refunded.

      This company uses a URL ********************************** and has nothing to do with ********** (a great company). They had a labor day sale and we used the coupon code for the 20% sale. The website accepted the coupon and we completed shipping and credit card information and all costs were calculated including the discount. Once we hit purchase they processed the order at full price. We tried to call but this is a totally virtual company and needed use chat. We chatted with them and they claimed the order wasn't entered. We checked back the following morning and the order already shipped and they wouldn't adjust the bill and said the coupon must have been invalid. We tried to stop the order and they said it was too late. They told us if we returned the shipment we would have to pay a 10% restocking fee plus a documentation fee. This is a terrible company using the fanimation name and not having anyone to talk to or anyone that would work to find a solution. ***** this company!

      I never recieved the products which were 3 Richmond Hill outdoor light fixtures plus 1 ************* lamp post light. I paid ********. It was taken out of my checking account on july 18, 2024. I tried contacting this company and you can only contact them virtually. They tell me they dont have any order in my name but the money was taken out of my account. Im so upset!

      My product stopped working, and Ive called their customer service several times, the same person answers the phone so I thing it may be a smaller company. He has refused to give assistance and went se far as to hang up the phone because he didn't want to help. Now I am stuff with a piece of equipment that doesn't work.

      Please note that this is resolved because after several days, I finally reached the shipping company (GLC Shipping) and they notified me that the package was handed off to another carrier (Accurate Cargo Delivery). Once I got this info, I called them and got my package. 1 Stop Lighting did absolutely nothing to help resolve my issues and were condescending to me, insinuating that the package had already been delivered and I should "check with my family members". They did nothing to track my package and just kept telling me "it had been delivered". This was unnecessarily difficult, and the poor customer service should be noted. They do not deserve an A+ BBB rating. 


      nk that nothing was ever shipped to me and this is all fraud. They stole my $582 and expect me to walk away. I'm furious that they can get away with this. I've spent the last week trying to reach a human being to talk about this, but every chat ends in no answers and every email just comes back with "the shipper confirms delivery". They recommend that I check with other family members... I LIVE ALONE. I would love a refund, but regardless, this company and GLC Shipping need to be investigated.

      I ordered 2 *********** the beginning of June 2024. I received my order and they were not the color that was in the picture. I went to their internet and read that you can return them at my expense. I returned them by ***** the next. They arrived back at the factory the next day.I have waited almost a month and I have not received a credit and after many calls to the customer service department no one has responded. I would like to get my $300 + back.
