The Republic Elite Integration is a alarm company which is providing service to new homes . I selected the company to do the prewire and paid $1 900 for the service . On January 16 th 2025 when I moved to my new home I asked for the service of Alarm monitoring by the company at a fee of $44.00 per month . A service was set by the company to Monitor my property in my absence .OI February 16 th I contacted the staff named **** who does the sales and ask for a upgrade camera service and asked for a quote . The quote provided to me was of very high price which was out of my Budget so I decided to hire another company for service which was in my Budget . On February 24th I sent a email to the Manager namely **** ****** to cancel my monitoring charges which was accepted however She is demanding me to pay a fee of $500 for the Termination process which is totally unfair because it is within the range of one month .I have already spent almost $ ***** for the service which I will not use in my Life time and on top of that they have added $500 .00 in ****** which is unfair to me .I have not yet disputed any prewire service provided by the company just requested the termination of service .

    Good morning,

Please see attached contract. Home owner signed a monitoring contract then decided later that they wanted to cancel contract. Per contract home owner can buy out of contract for $500.00. Home owner is in a legal agreement to pay contract. They did not sign under duress and are obligated to pay.

Please let me know if you have any further questions.

I am rejecting this response because: feel like I have been ripped off by the said company, after giving them a big business for setting up their alarm system they are crying about $500.00 this show how malpractice they are and I will never recommend this company to any person in my life time Horrible customer service.

    Good morning,

Please see attached conversation will home owner. Home owner choose to go with another company, ***, on their own knowing that they were under contract with Republic Elite. The owner has the right to choose any security company, but it does not void the legal contract and $500.00 buy out fee. The contract is legal under California law and fully compliant with all California laws. Customer needs to pay the $500.00 or they will be turned into collections.

    Thank you.

I have renewed the Republic Elite Integration ***** Service for December ***** and wanted to do it for year **** as well. Billing renewal went fine but I noticed Doorbell camera was not added to my ***** app. I raised it with billing department and they stated they will adjust as part of year **** invoice. Now, billing asked me to call their customer service. Called multiple times and they never reverted. Finally they called me up and asked to pay $50 for their customer service to come on the phone and fix the Doorbell Camera added to ***** app and $50 if they come onsite. Why do I need to pay for their phone service for something I am paying as new? This is bad business. Now I have camera which I cannot use for security monitoring. The ask is fix the camera to ***** app without any charge as its a new contract.

I am rejecting this response because:

I am ready to renew the yearly contract and that means I will be back in warranty.

The ask is once I am in warranty, why should i pay for repairs.

For entire month of Dec,2023 , I was in warranty. Attached Dec invoice paid.

I had reported this to billing department in Dec but never got call from customer service.
