I live at ****************************. My neighbor at ***** hired Fallen Leaf to remove two trees in January 2023 and again in March 2023. Fallen Leaf did not take proper safety measures and follow best practices/laws for tree removal. For the first tree removal, they fell the tree and did not notify the neighbors ahead of time. I live right next door and when the job site supervisor (*******, I think that is his name) realized there were people in my house, he said we should vacate because he couldn't guarantee the tree wouldn't fall on my house. This was just moments before he was making the final cuts and the tree was ready to drop. We vacated as quickly as possible. The tree fell and damaged my cement border, landscaping and front yard tree. There was an (approximately) 8 year old child on the worksite with the two workers and playing on the un-stabilized cut tree. I have a video of this situation. The second tree was cut in sections and the employees used my yard and driveway to store their equipment to work. They again damaged my yard, were trespassing and did not give any notice to the neighbors. The third tree in March was cut in sections and one big section fell on the worker's head. Careless and unprofessional. Again, used my yard to store chain saws, ropes, boxes, blowers, etc. Again trespassing. Again damaging my yard, plants and with no notice to the neighbors. This time I demanded they remove their equipment from my property. The job site supervisor (I don't have his name) did and agreed it was unprofessional.I would like to be contact by this company via email. I do not want this company to have my personal phone number because also on the video ******* states that "he loves my neighbors dad" "and "glad to help you out with this favor" indicating that there is a personal and not professional relationship for this job. My neighbor is aggressive and a hostile person and I would like my privacy protected. Thank you

In response to the complaint.  The homeowner that we did emergency tree removal service for also recorded the work because of conflicts with the complainant for other work they have completed at their residence. We have multiple accounts of the nature of the neighbor dispute involving unsubstantiated  accounts of damage that was not as the result of the work conducted and of the *** Security intervening dure to the aggressive nature of the complainant.

The Trees in question failed due to extreme soil saturation not only from the declared Federal Emergency from the significant weather in January of 2023, but from a broken water line from the complainants property that was never addressed. We conducted an emergency removal on the first failed tree and had to return as the other two subsequently failed. The very nature of an emergency removal is working in extreme conditions and with imminent threat to life and property, felling the trees was a safest expedited way to mitigate the hazard. In an abundance of caution the complainant was advised to not be in the area, there was no risk to her residence.

The branch tips that landed on her property do not have the weight or force to cause the damage claimed and before photos provided by the home owner evidence that anything noted was existing.  As to the unintentional setting down of equipment in her yard it was immediately removed as she aggressively charged and verbally assaulted the crew it does not have substantial weight or size to create damage.

The statement alleging that a child was put in ***** way is also false as the tree was felled at the time at of no risk to anyone.

And lastly we are a service company we engage with our clients in a friendly and professional manner the two are not mutually exclusive.
