  I recently called the company to come out and fix the furnace for an elderly woman and her disabled son. Her furnace was working but only pulling in cool air and not heat. When the older man and his two sons arrived they had spent about 45 minutes and called me to inform me that her furnace needed a deep cleaning and a new filter and replaced a flame senor rod (which retails for about *****). The gentleman told me this was going to cost ****** to fix and he was giving me a bargain and told me about replacing all kinds of parts. I told him to send me an invoice and when I receive it none of these things were listed. Only the deep cleaning and the sensor rod were worth noting. I called the company and spoke to the boss and when I told him this was an excessive amount of money he argued with me and said he would only charge me ******. I told him I would be willing to pay half of the ****** which would have been ****** and he refused. I dont even think it should have been that much for the little work they did. They were only there for about 45 minutes and he said that there were three of them there and should not have made any difference. It almost sounds like he wants me to pay the salary for all three of them. I*m trying to resolve this problem and I*m more than willing to pay my fair share but this price is totally out of line for the work being done. I*m hoping you can help me in this situation.
