11/20/2023 Salesman come to my shop trying to sell me mithell on damand .The sales man told me of a 90 day free trial .I told him i was semi retired and had no workers left also told him my wife was had been diagnoise with breast cancer.2/6/2024 called to make sure on line service was done women seen only used a couple of times of use .told her no longer working and been taking wife for treatments etc .she said it would be cancelled also spoke to salesman shouldnt be a problem.bang money was pulled from my account i called and the women said i was in a two year contract didnt want to here anything. sends me a contract to sign and instructions how to log in with password very sad company desperit for money i told her iam not going to pay she said i will turn it over to a collection agency well i have a laywer and will try for refund.Initial Complaint

Called on 3/13 to ask for a refund and cancel our contract because we actually needed Mitchell International NOT Mitchell1, and we found this out on 3/12. *************************** the "accounting" line and was rude and *****. When I asked to talk to a manager to said why - and that a request takes 2-4 business days to reply. We are charged monthly and want this ended ASAP, and we called as soon as we found out. The lack of care from her was unacceptable and unnerving. I can see why customers are upset.Initial Complaint

Sales rep ****** me for a bundle package for the free 30 day trial. I have previously shared that I only need ProDemand. Before the 30 day free trial expired, I contacted sale rep via text to make sure that I am only ****** up for ProDemand for $158/month. I was charged the full bundle price of ****** prior to the 30 day free trial. Sales rep confirmed that I am only in contract for ProDemand for $158/month and said that I will see a credit on my next statement. The following month, not only did I not see said credit, once again I was charge for the bundle $******. I texted the sales rep to see what is happening and no reply. I contacted customer service for the first time on Nov 27th. Per their request, I have forwarded all text messages with the price and product that I agreed on with their sales rep. ***** time I call to follow up, I am told that someone will call be back by the end of business day and that is yet to happen. It has been over 3 weeks and there is no resolution to my concern. I keep calling to follow up and get the same answer that someone will call me back.Today they send me a contract to sign for ProDemand for $184. I called again and asked why they want to charge me $184 instead of the $158 that I had agreed (text messages form their sales rep stating $158 were emailed to them twice). There is still no update as to when I will see the refund for being overcharged for 2 months. Once again I am to wait for someone to call me to give me an update on my refund and adjust my ProDemand contract to $158/ month.Initial Complaint

In March 2023, a former employee created an account on ********************** website to get a schematic for use. He checked a box agreeing to use of electronic signatures, but was never prompted to enter one. He created account under ********************** name &used his personal email so he could reset password if needed. A credit card was required to be on file to create account. He asked for permission to do so and was told he was allowed to buy the one schematic he needed (approximately $300). He entered the payment information in. He got schematic he needed & never accessed again, nor was he ever sent anything more from Mitchell1 re: his account. he then left the company.In Oct 2023, our office mgr saw monthly charges & called Mitchell1. She was told these were subscription charges. We said we never signed up for subscription. They sent us a document showing "*****************************" our owner, typed as electronic signature. We asked **** -- he had not signed. We asked former employee -- he had not signed ****'s name. Therefore **** had entered a contract with Mitchell1. We asked for them to cancel subscription & were told they couldn't, but they'd remove 'auto-renewal' next March.I spoke to ******* at Mitchell1 on recorded line. I asked how **** was signatory when he was not user. She told me they just took ****'s name from credit-card info & since we'd agreed to using electronic signatures by a checkbox this meant **** had now entered a contract. There's no indication on the site/checkbox that **** would be signatory when former employee was user. He didn't manually type in nor sign a field. ******* also said it was 30 day free trial that turned into subscription because it was never cancelled. I asked if they sent reminder to former employee and ******* told me no. We asked for cancellation of subscription. ******* said they'd review and get back to us. Instead they've just charged again and ignore us. Pls help us get resolved. We didn't sign up!Initial Complaint

The company kept trying to charge my card at midnight an to the point of my bank consider it fraud. An i tried working with the company. They closed my account. Then tried to get a loan shark style creditor have to pay half of what was said to be owed do to unknown contract. The credtors are a joke. Tell u how it going to be to dont care if u paid or what. I didnt know i was signing a contract for something I didnt believe i could use i was told they would teach me how to use there product and pay monthly!! They did not teach me I couldnt use the product i tried and i paid for a few months trying to learn to use it but couldnt use it so I stopped payments cause y pay for a service that doesnt assist u at all? Now they r all rying to charge me over a **** dollars fof services that havent been used and they can even see I havent used their services but want to file unpaid reports when i paid for more services than i received alreadyInitial Complaint

Seeking Cancellation of recurring monthly charge for an accounting product called BACK OFFICE we can not use and had problems from the first week duplicating deposit entries in Quickbooks online and deposits were off by one cent went they posted. I spent hours trying to delete entries made by this program with the help of a tech named ********. I told ******** at the end of May 2023 I wanted to cancel the product. it was adding work deleting duplicate entries instead of saving me work. When I contacted the company to cancel, they refused to stop the monthly charge until April of ****. I spoke to Mitchel1 today and the notes in my account were not accutate when he read them back. Basically he blamed me for the software not working as they advertised. I would like them to stop charging my credit card monthly for their accounting software we no longer use called BACK OFFICE.Initial Complaint

A sales lady from Mitchell 1 contacted me about their new truck series product In November of 2022. I met with her and agreed to try the product after the first of the year because of Christmas being so close. She told me she would pay the December bill if I wanted to try the product and she would contact before the free trial period was over to make sure I wanted to continue the subscription. She never contacted me and I received a bill for December. I then called her and mitchell trying to cancel and they said it wasn't possible. I have several witnesses that heard the mitchell sales lady tell me she would contact me before the 30 days and she would cover December bill. Which neither happened. They can see that I never logged in to use the product except to try to cancel subscription. 2 times.
