First, I am grateful for the opportunity to learn a skill that launched my entrepreneurship goals however this company has shown time and time again that they do not care about much outside of the bottom dollar. In December 2021 I submitted and paid for my recertification. I periodically emailed asking about an update twice within the following 7 months. None of my emails were returned and I wanted to move forward with requesting a refund for services not rendered through my bank. My bank recommended reaching out to the merchant since the claims window was closed. I understood recertification would be a slow process (as they are with everything), but 7 months after submitting payment and receiving nothing was a bit ridiculous. There was NO hesitation on their end with processing payment. After several back-to-back calls to the home office, I annoyed someone enough to call me back. The receptionist claimed This is not like them and apologized for dropping the ball, offering to bring this to Dr. ** attention immediately. I was baffled at how she claimed this was unusual- just look at the ** groups and other complaints on here. Its been 7 months and had I not been on them, they would have taken my money without recertifying me. I am beyond confident in my skills and I consistently have a waiting list. I demanded Sisterlocks to please refund me so we can cut ties. I personally and professionally cannot be associated with scam-like or shady behavior from anyone. The company seems to be working on new ways to earn more money with boot camps and such when the original $1500 training needs improvement. The network of SL consultants and trainees having issues with this company seems to keep growing because the company remains unresponsive to re-direction and positive criticism.
