      So I did bank with them for 10 plus year. earlier this year there was a fraud situation on my account were my online account information was stolen and I was told it was my own fault they charged off my account for 8k and "closed" it I took a loan out and it went to the "closed" mission federal account as well as my paycheck for my pay period at the time again the account is "closed" and I've already changed banks and put that bank information for my work and for the loan I receive lf as well but it was still sent to the "closed" account. I was told once mission federal rejected the incoming funds they would be sent to my correct bank but they didn't they took the funds after one of their employees said they would reject the funds. I am writing this now because again I was sent a letter saying the account is closed but it isn't inrecently received funds from the **** of *** from ******* a child tax that mission fed is taking from me. so to update everything after being a loyal customer for over a decade they but me debt and put a charge off on my account for 8k then took another **** from me after closing my account. DO NOT TRUST THIS BANK

      Ive been a member with an auto loan for over 3 years, had an insurance is*** where it wasnt updated and I didnt receive one call or text. They added and additional $200 a month to my auto payment and when I realized and fixed it they STILL charged the additional amount anyway. Fast forward, one year, same situation, same result. They added another $200 to my account per month, froze my auto pay. Did not call or email and I only found out when I woke up and my truck was gone. Played phone tag for 3 days before they told me they stopped taking payments from my account and Im not responsible to pay $800 a month(twice the original amount) because they cant take off additional charges they added to the loan. This isnt a credit union. Its a scam and they have 0 customer service, and dont care to fix THEIR mistake. As a veteran who usually banks with navy federal I can tell you this place is a trash establishment and they will absolutely f**k you to their fullest extent with no remorse. I am going to refinance my loan with NFCU and contact their front office with my attorney to *** them for the money that they are STEALING.

      To whom it may concern:

      This letter is in response to the Better Business Bureau complaint made by ***************************** regarding Mission Fed, which we received on May 9, 2023. In the complaint ******************** expressed dissatisfaction regarding Mission Fed increasing his monthly auto payment due to an insurance issue. He claims that he did not receive notification via phone call or e-mail and the situation ultimately resulted in the repossession of his vehicle.

      Mission Fed takes all complaints seriously and a members service experience is important to **. We have thoroughly investigated this matter and confirmed that proper procedures and regulations were followed, and our actions were within the terms of Mr. ********* loan agreement.

      We have extensive documentation in Mr. ********* loan file showing that we did everything possible to collaborate with him and his insurance company to remedy the situation. His vehicle insurance lapsed twice, which resulted in force place insurance and the increase of his monthly payment. His loan was consistently delinquent and Mission Fed representatives worked with him for over a year to remedy the situation. We have detailed notes in his loan file regarding when we communicated with ********************, via phone, letters, and e-mails and the content of the communication. ******************** was well informed regarding the status of his account.

      It was not until the loan was severely delinquent, we no longer had a current home address and Mr. ********* failure to return our phone call that left ** with no alternative but to repossess our collateral. The situation was remedied on May 8, 2023.

      We hope that this demonstrates that Mission Fed is a business that cares about its members and attempts to provide the best service possible, even in the most difficult of situations.

      I went today to mission federal in **************** in *********** today in regards to not receiving my pink slip for my paid off car, the lady bank teller who helped me was very unprofessional and unhelpful at all. She said my pink slip was sent to a wrong address and they didnt send the slips to a P.O. Box I had on file then another bank teller joined the conversation and said for me to take my issue with the dmv since they wouldnt help me in that location

      OMG this "bank" is a joke. I have been trying to pay off a lease ALL DAY!! I have talked to six different people who have told me different things. They won't finance an out of state loan, they won't take a $15,000 payment, they won't take a loan from another company... I finally just offered them cash - $30K in CASH - and they still can't figure it out. HOW is this a bank??? They've wasted my whole day and cost me $80 in wire transfer fees to GIVE THEM $30k. It is INSANE! Stay away. Totally incompetent.

      I was a member for years. I recently closed my account due to a **** pay incident, where I paid a friend $ borrowed. They didn't tell me that they don't mail the check out timely. When it wasn't send 5 days later I called & was told it went out on 5/31 which wasn't true. It went out on 6/6. My ********** were angry about this. They gave me -0- service, didn't follow up or explain the process w/**** pay re sending to a person vs a business, never apologized, I demanded a response & got zero. I was very angry that they took the $ from my acct. w/o ever sending the check to my friend then lied about when it was sent. The check was drawn on ***** Fargo to boot. I tried to complain to the **** but they said it wasn't their wheel house when they regulate CUs. Useless govt. org & explains why so many CUs incl. this 1 are so bad on service & lack quality. They post a mission stmt on their site that they don't live by. The 2 reps I s/w were terrible. They never escalated it to mgr which further explains the poor service there. The *** should be fired. All of the employees should be fired, the service is atrocious & don't recommend any 1 do business w/them. I left a very negative ****** review on them, that seemed to be the only thing they cared about. They responded to that quickly requesting I call them. I ignored ******* review remains as is w/zero changes just like the service they gave me as a long standing member. Better to just go to a bank if you want to be treated poorly. CUs tout that they're better, I have yet to find 1 that is. They're right up there w/***** ****** ************ of America - terrible. There's no excuse or justification for poor quality customer service. I'd rather pay monthly fees & get better service. I just opened a 2nd acct. w/the CU I'm already banking with. Way better service level than MFCU ever will be again! Steer clear of this place, you can do better, do your research first.
