In your complaint you expressed dissatisfaction over the impact to your creditworthiness and the settlement amounts.
We confirmed your enrollment into the program on September 2, 2019. At the time of enrollment, the Account Specialist reviewed your Enrollment Agreement with you prior to your signing. The information about the impact to your credit worthiness is covered under the section titled "Debt Settlement & *********** Services Agreement" in paragraph 13 "Disclaimer". It reads in part as follows:
"The use of Companys debt settlement services will likely adversely affect Clients creditworthiness, may result in Client being sued by creditors or collectors and may increase the outstanding balances of Clients enrolled accounts due to the accrual of fees and interest."
Once your settlements have been completed, if you feel there is a discrepancy in the manner in which the creditor is reporting, you may wish to dispute that directly with the credit reporting agency.
Additionally, information about the estimated settlement amounts is covered under the section title "Program Snapshot". It reads in part as follows:
"Estimates are based on our past experience with creditors. Actual results may vary on a case by case basis... ...We do not guarantee that your debts will be resolved for a specific amount or percentage or within a specific period of time."

holding on to personal property after account has been told to close. Not allowing for my property to be accessible. Not helping with accessing dedicated account passwords, by refusing the customer to speak to qualified account managers. There was a verbal promise over phone to close account in 3-5 bussiness days. This promise was not honored. I have zero information about any review process in order to close an account with Beyond Finance. This information is not attainable on the website. I enrolled in a debt settlement program with them and was told the car (which died about a month after purchasing) financing I had enrolled was eligible and would be the first one settled. Now after 3 months in the program, not paying that loan as instructed they told me it was never eligible and needs to be removed. My credit score has tanked and I have had zero results with the settlement and are doing nothing to resolve their problem they created for me. I am in a much worse financial situation now that when I enrolled. Despite talking to multiple reps the car being ineligible was never discussed with meBusiness Response

We confirmed your enrollment into the program on May 31, 2022. At the time of enrollment you signed the Enrollment Agreement. The information about impact to your credit is covered under the section titled "Debt Resolution Agreement" in paragraph 13 "Disclaimer". It reads in part as follows:

The decision to stop paying creditors rests solely with the Client, and the client acknowledges and fully understands that the company will not be making the Clients scheduled monthly payments to their creditors."
In regards to the automobile loan that was requested to be removed from your program, our records indicate that you spoke with an Account Manager on August 8, 2022 and it was confirmed that the account in question can remain in your program.

I signed up with beyond finance months ago, I gave it time and paid into my dedicated account for months and they're first settlement was projected for July, never happened, I'd understand if it was a big amount but for 5 months they couldn't settle a 56$ amount. So I call to cancel and get a refund only to be told I'd be getting x amount back because I had a monthly fee... to my knowledge it is 100% illegal for a debt settlement company to charge anything until they get a settlement reached. In your complaint you expressed dissatisfaction over the lack of progress in your program as well as the monthly maintenance fee associated with your dedicated savings account.
We confirmed your enrollment into the program on March 19, 2022. At the time of enrollment, the Account Specialist reviewed your Enrollment Agreement with you prior to your signing. The information about program progress is covered under the section titled "Debt Settlement & *********** Services Agreement" in paragraph 8 "Timing and Program Estimates". It reads in part as follows:
"Further, in our experience it typically takes approximately 4-6 months before reaching the stage at which Company can begin reaching out to creditors or collectors and achieve your first resolution."
At the time of your requested termination, you have been enrolled in the program less than five months. Beyond Finance was still within the estimated time frame provided in the enrollment agreement.
Additionally, information about the monthly maintenance fee you referenced is available in your Enrollment Agreement under the section "CFT Pay". This fee is paid directly to ******************** Technologies (CFT), not Beyond Finance, and is non-refundable.

Mr. **************************** you for the continued opportunity to address your concerns. In your most recent correspondence you expressed continued dissatisfaction with the monthly maintenance fee charged by ******************** Technologies (CFT).
The fees you are referencing was not charged or collected by Beyond Finance. These fees were charged and collected by CFT and are for the set up and maintenance of your dedicated savings account. Additional detail can be found in your Enrollment Agreement under the CFTPay section. It reads in part as follows:
"FEE SCHEDULE*
SPA FEES:
Setup Fee (one-time fee)............................. $9.95
Monthly Service Fee (per month)............... $10.75"
"15. Fees. You agree to pay the fees and charges set forth in the Fee Schedule on the first page of this Account Agreement, as amended from time to time. You agree that fees may be deducted automatically from your SPA as they accrue. The monthly service fee for the first calendar month of the **************** will not be prorated and will be deemed earned on the date your account is opened. Thereafter, the monthly service fee will be earned in full as of the first day of each calendar month and may be collected at that time, without proration if the **************** is terminated prior to the end of the month. Other fees and charges shall be deemed earned at the time of the transaction or event giving rise to the fee or charge."

If you are looking for the proof of payment on this settlement, you can access the transaction history through your dedicated savings account through CFT. If you are requesting a settlement in full letter, you would need to request that form from the creditor. As Beyond Finance never held the debt in question, we would be unable to issue that letter.

Mattii if it needs to go to********** financial then have ********** financial send a reciept for payments to **** financial when they were taking money out of my account apparently somebody is just passing the buck when this was paid off or settled on Feb.29 2020 i gave the BBB 5or 6 names and dates and times from Beyond finance that these people all stated that this loan thru **** financial was paid off and settled I dont care which company sends a reciept but it has been over 2 years .
