10/22 I signed up with the company because I met a guy saying he makes 10k a month closing deals. By the end of 11/22 I finished the academy and was ready for placement, when I told the placement manager I could only do part time until I see I can make real money with this (because I have a family) he treated me like trash and a waste of time. I called the guy who introduced me to the program and found out he was still in placement as well, so he lied to me about making 10k a month. I tried to get out of the program, I didn't want a refund I told them they could keep the money just don't charge me anymore. They said they held up their end of the contract but how? I never got the tshirt they said I'd get, I didn't get placed, and I never had a mentor like they promised. I tried to get out of the program for 2 months and gave up. Finally, a month or two ago I decided I should give it another try, if they are charging me I might as well try to get some of the money back right? Nope. ****, the guy who onboarded me, turned off his cell phone. **, one of the trainers I liked, left the company altogether. I tried to get on the ** group, guess what, they kicked me out. I tried to text the number they were texting me from for placement, no answer. This company literally took my money and disappeared on me. I didn't want a refund before but now I think I do. This is insane, to know a company like this can profit off people's dreams of bettering themselves. I can't believe they get away with it.Business Response

I already went to this link and they contacted me saying they fulfilled their end of the contract even though they did not. I never got the t-shirt and never got placed, I never had a mentor and I was lied to more than once. I didnt even want a refund I just wanted them to stop charging me and let me out of the program. They kicked me out of the ************** for no reason which is fine because I dont use social media but that was part of the contract too, so they kicked me out AND continued to charge me. For the record, this isnt a complaint to get a refund i simply want to get out of my financing agreement, i have told them they can keep what i have paid, as i had completed the program but nothing that was promised was fulfilled. On top of that, the person that closed me on the deal, was fired because of Immoral practices and this information i got from someone who works within the company. Upon completing his presentation, i asked for some time to really think about that kind of commitment and he proceeded to tell me that the offer would only be good for that call and that id have to pay thousands more if i didnt pay right then and there. He swore up and down that id make my money back and then some in 6 months TOPS! it literally took me that long to even get placed. What a fool i was!I bought into the ************** with zero sales experience because they said i didnt need experience to make money after financing 11k and paying out over 6k, i was finally placed with one of their business partners because they had changed their placement coordinators 3 times over a span of a couple of months i never started working officially, then i was over it, i realized i dont like sales and i wanted to opt out of the remaining balance of my financing as it had impacted my credit and finances immensely in a negative way they said i cant get out of it because i signed the contract, which i never got a copy of. To take until there is no more to take and then take some more even when the customer they screwed doesnt want a refund is absurd to me all i want is to get out of the remaining balance of the financing am i wrong?Business Response

Hello. Today is February 7th, 2023. I am writing this more to establish an official record than anything else, in case Limelight Media attempts to pursue this matter. Just like every other person has stated, Lime Light promised one on one coaching which I never received. After watching the training videos, I sent in the first assignment, and asked repeatedly for feedback. After a week, I got none. I had given them my financial information, and thought I was locked in, but on the day they actually tried to collect, my bank denied the charge for a fraud alert, and after checking them out further, sent a message telling them I am not interested, and to not contact me. As no money actually changed hands, I believe the matter is settled, but just in case, wanted to prove that on February 6th, 2023, I said no, before the transaction was completed. 08/27/22 Transaction for $2000 09/02/22 Transaction for $5000 & 08/29/22 Transaction for $5000. Altogether, $12,000 is what this company owed in regard to a refund. I paid for a service to make money online. I've not seen a return which I was promised when I signed up. The $2K is a different program however I paid $10K for program called "inner circle" which is a full cost of $50K. The $2K transaction I have not seen anything as far as what I was told. I proceeded to request for a refund & the company denied me due to the fact that I denied request the refund within 3-days of the transaction taken place...3-days literally. Now if I'm not mistaken more likely how something will turn out within that timeframe to even make a decision based on what I was sold on. It wasn't like it was presented as a 3-day turnaround of ROI but, also in return they wanted to offer me support instead of me letting my $2K go to waste. There's no clear as to why I cannot receive my refund. Basically, a scam. The $10K however, is a bit more complex. It's advertised as partnership program which the full cost is $50K. I paid $10 to finance the rest or til I start to see some returns on that & that will ultimately cover the full cost. Very slow paced for me. It was to get in contact reaching individuals. The program wasn't even fully completed which there's no telling how long it would've taken. Although I kept getting hassled by salesman to keep putting money towards the program when I even started it yet. I lost full complete interest in it decided I wanted my money back. There resolution department is giving me around. They speak with directors, executives, etc. for what exact reason? I'm not even sure but, I know for a fact that there is no clear reason that I shouldn't been given a refund. The Onboarding, The Training, Support is already included in their online system when you sign up 1st ************* using that as reason also to not refund me. This company took $10,000 of my money under the false claim that I would be making my money back within ***** days if i decide to "invest in myself." I was sold on my hopes and dreams, just as taught in their carefully constructed sales script to manipulate you into buying their "product." there is no real product or service. do not do business with these guys. it's all a lie. the only way people are making money is from commission received from recruitment of more people or upselling their students on mikes higher priced "coaching products" it's a pyramid scheme. scam. fraudulent way of making money. i don't know how **** and his team could live life like this knowing they're taking hard earned money from innocent people.Business Response

Limelight media currently owes me $28,000.00. I had to despute. $20k and $10k! I got $20k thanks! I believe this to be a pyramid scheme! I just want to settle this and move on! I recently received a letter from their legal department accusing me of harassment! This is absurd! I have been trying to reach out to this company and have gotten no response or no one to speak with regarding this issue! I got coherences in to buying bogus programs! Going to keep it simple and short , I invested in this program a while ago , and after being in it for a week , it became very apparent to me that this company ran on MLM, also known as a pyramid scheme. How it works is very simple, you have ********************* and *************** at the top, come down to his successful students( ***** ***, ******, ************ ), who sell his course full time, then the setters/closers under those students, and so on. At the very beginning, they push you with financial incentives to use the "affiliate program" which is you getting more people to drop 15k on the program you bought, then once you complete the academy you have two options, either get placed with placement services, which is nearly impossible since his partnerships are sloppy and always completely filled with closers or (here comes the MLM/Pyramid scheme part) YOU SELL THE SAME COURSE FULL TIME, with no base pay, only commission. You see where ** getting at, unfortunately, I didn't know this was how the program worked until they let me in, and it put me in a very bad financial spot, as I *************** by the salesmen in the same position I was put in, who need money in order to survive. It's very ******, to say the least, especially when you see him buying ************ and GTRs. Only the people at the top of the pyramid win while you suffer making payments to the program and the dream they sold you on. It seems like no one has really made a detailed complaint, well here it is. The only upside, is you get some real knowledge on how to sell, but it's very foundational, and not worth 15k. I feel bad for the people who are selling the course, not because they want to but because they need to in order to survive. All I ask for is a full refund + compensation for the 2 months wasted on this "opportunity" to make ********************* and his family rich. I am considering getting a lawyer involved in case my ask isn't fulfilled.Business Response
