    When I experienced water damage in March 2022, Belfor was sent out by my insurance company. Belfor provided the water mitigation and clean-up. Belfor was supposed to also perform the restoration however I had to fire them for there lack of professionalism. It took me weeks for a project manger to contact me, and another week for him to visit. There was little to no communication of what the restoration plan would be. I was hoping that during the restoration that a few upgrades to the bathroom could be done. I understood that some of these costs would not be covered by insurance. I was fine with this and the only thing I needed was an understanding of the cost. When I received and invoice of the additional costs I had a few questions. It appeared that the project was trying to charge me for things that wou8ld have otherwise been covered by the insurance. When I attempted to have him clarify the costs to stopped returning my calls and emails. At this point I contacted my insurance company and told them I would no longer deal with Belfor. I attempted filing a complaint through Belfors website but I never heard anything from them. I have not heard one word from Belfor regarding their poor customer service. It is now October and ********************** has reached out to me because they are seeking the deductible. The other company that did the work was paid for the work minus the deductible. I covered the deductible for the company that actually did the work. There was only one insurance claim. If there was an issue with the payment it could have been addressed in May when the payment was sent to them from the insurance company. Belfor acted with zero professionalism and did nothing to resolve their poor service. As of today I have not received any written invoice from Belfor of remaining charges. Unless there is something in my Mailbox as I type this. I have only received phone calls about when they can collect payment.
