This company and the employees they send out to the homes need to educate themselves on furnaces. ASI came to my house for a furnace tune up and the service person said he detected a small amount of carbon monoxide leaking from the furnace. After putting cameras in our heat exchange and taking pictures, they claim there was a hole that causes the leak of carbon monoxide. The recommendation was to replace the whole furnace (15 years old) and duct system. The quote was any where from $14k, $15k, or $16k. Obviously, we started getting estimates from other companies. One company did not detect carbon monoxide. Finally, we had SDG&E come do their free inspection, where I was educated on my 15 year old furnace. I also was educated on carbon monoxide and how it is detected. First, carbon monoxide doesn't leak out of a hole or crack in your heat pipes, but rather from a large amount of soot. Soot would come from all your wires being burnt out in the front of your furnace. So if you open the panel and do not find any soot and burnt wires, you do not have carbon monoxide. SDG&E found that I had a clean and excellent furnace that most likely will last another 20+ years. It's not a surprise I haven't heard from ASI again since the service person knew I was going to have SDG&E out. Do your research ASI and stop scamming people out there just to make money.ASI The White Glove Guys

Hello ******, I am the customer service manager here at ASI. I have some concerns about your review and some information you published that is misleading and potentially dangerous to other consumers. Carbon monoxide absolutely CAN and does leak from cracks in a heat exchange. This is a metal tube inside the furnace that heats up because of a flame burning inside of it. The byproduct of a flame is carbon monoxide. If there is a crack in the heat exchange then YES, that carbon monoxide can leak out. Soot should not exist inside a furnace. It is a residue left from combustibles. This could be gas, wires, dust, all of which should be areas of concern but not at all indications of carbon monoxide. Your statement, "So if you open the panel and do not find any soot and burnt wires, you do not have carbon monoxide." Is an incredibly dangerous thing to say. I have asked the BBB to redact that information and I would ask that you do the same. Whoever gave you that information should also be addressed that is potentially fatal information. I do want to speak with you about your interaction with our service techs and review your account history to make sure those involved were operating with your health and safety as a first priority. They ripped me off.Their repairman was effective, diagnosed and resolved the problem within 10 minutes. The bill was $798. I thought it was excessive, so I researched the 2 parts they installed: They charged me $696 for 2 parts you can buy for less than $50 (for both). When I called them, they didn't deny the parts were less than $50, but said that's the way things are when I work with big companies. They shaved $100 from my bill, but that was it. ASI are a bunch of crooks. They quoted me $2250 for a job .I got another opinion. Exactly the same repairs. Quote was $843. That included a 10% discount because I served in *******. I wouldn't recommend ASI for dogcatcher.ASI The White Glove Guys

Horrible ******************* After "selling" me on a "Rewards" program at $10 per month and providing a unique phone number for Rewards customers, I discovered that the "unique" phone number went nowhere!! When I canceled the plan, *****, a customer service rep, reached out to BLAME **** and stated that other customers had filed the same complaint. The ** then got defensive then hostile when I called him out that if the problem had been going on this long with multiple clients complaining it was NOT ****'s fault and that a professional ** should NEVER assign blame as a way to cover the company's own poor management even if there was blame to assign. The ** argued and threatened to hang up ... but I was way ahead of him. I said I was hanging up 3 times during his diatribe and then finally hung up. I suspect the ** is tired of handling these calls and perhaps should seek work with a company he can be proud of ... there should also be some customer service training at this company. On 9/1/2020 I signed a contract to have both 26 solar panels and a Neovolta 24 kwh whole house battery installed. Panels and battery were installed properly however ASI never processed the **** battery rebate as they were required to do. The account manager was incompetent. She repeatedly sent over the rebate application with incorrect information that I had to bring to her attention. How do you not know what size battery was installed? After the last correction, I was told it would *********** months to a year for the rebate to be processed. Repeatedly, I was assured that the rebate was filed and I just had to wait for it. Calls to ASI were difficult to get anyone who could answer basic questions. What I have come to finally know that ASI never filed the rebate that was time sensitive. We were told that the rebate would be $5,800 for the battery which represented a 25% reduction in the price. This year, ASI said the person in charge of the rebates was fired. Great where is my rebate money? I was now offered a $3,474 rebate. Perplexed by the difference in the amounts I couldn't figure out why this would be. I called and asked that they actually send me my rebate application which i had repeatedly asked for. This application should have been dated in late 2020. When I received this application, it was dated June 20, 2022. Fifteen cents was the designated rebate listed on the application which was not even a possibility in 2020. It should have been .25 cents per wh. This is finally confirmation that I had been repeatedly lied to by multiple people when I called ASI that I just had to wait that everything had been processed correctly. When I looked at their application my wife's email and importantly address was not correct. This lack of attention to detail appears to be standard procedure for ASI. I want the full amount of the battery rebate of $5,800, I should not have to pay for incompetence.ASI The White Glove Guys
