  I cannot say enough bad things about Genesis.They came to the door, offering exterior paint and stucco estimates. In one of the great regrets of my life I agreed to their coming back for a quote as I needed some exterior repainting done.The pressure sellers that showed up tried insisting my wife and I were both present. I explained she is brain injured and would not be talking to salesmen. They would not take no for an answer until I finally told them they could talk to just me or leave.They then proceeded to try to give me quotes for patio covers and solar coatings. Turns out they had zero intention of selling exterior painting as Id agreed to talk to them.They then wouldnt leave without my signing up for a tens of thousands of dollars of work I didnt want. I had to get incredibly forceful to make them go.The owner then called me and offered to send another set of salesmen, but they too needed to talk to both my wife and I, so we could sign a contract while under pressure selling. I refused and asked to be added to their do not call list.They now call every few months, acting like nothing ever happened and theyd like to complete the prior estimate. Every time, I tell them that I have zero Interest in ever working with such awful pressure sellers and will never, ever work with Genesis, so please add me to their do not call list.They do not honor Do Not Call List requests and constantly keep calling.In the me too era, if they were dates, not home improvements, their utter refusal to accept no meaning no, their utter disrespect for consent, there would only be one term to describe them.

I quick review of our records show you were added to our internal do not call list after your request to our customer service *********** you for considering our services.For those considering Genesis - we did not do and estimate here and we do not offer solar anything. We paint homes and this is our #1 product so the info provided does not line up. I listened to the recording from 9/24/22 - our representative was nice and polite and before he had even taken a breath this customer berated him and us, requested a do not call, hung up, and then apparently ran to be a keyboard warrior.Please check out our 100s of 5 star reviews on ****** and *************. We only work in San Diego county, we are all local, and strive to provide the absolute best possible customer service for all of our communities. Call Genesis at ************ and we will show you why we are *********'s Best remodeling team.

  We had a great experience having our house painted by Genesis. The representative ***** who met with us at our home for the initial consultation, was a great guy. He was professional, polite friendly and very patient as we had so many questions. He took the time to address each one and provide us with detailed answers. He went over abosultey everything we cool expect and explained all the options for financing a roof project so we knew what was best. The crew who installed our roof were wonderful. *** was the project managerT and he runs a tight ship as they say. They were all very efficient and respectful while at our home. They kept the work areas clean and tidy throughout the install and worked hard to finish ahead of schedule which was added bonus. The roof was quite expensive, but its well worst it and very good quality, comes with a 50 year warranty too which is awesome as we plan on staying here and leaving the home for our kids so the peace of mind and the quality is really worth it in the long run, and as I said the financing options are helpful and Genesis has many flexible payment plans available. Everyone that we met with, spoke with including ******* at the office who was wonderful, or any one we had at out home during the project were friendly, professional and know what they are doing. They are a good team with lots of experience and it shows. All in all this was a great experience for what is a very stressful project for a homeowner to take on. Thank you Genesis.
