Sharp Memorial Hospital of ********* May 22nd 2023 killed my wife. By abandoning in her. After a procedure she contracted covid as well as sepsis and they forced her out of the hospital. Only to be readmitted 9 hours later. During that time the continually abandoned in her mistreated her refused care of underlying conditions ripped out her feeding tube lied about it and almost did it again the following day.severe bed injuries led to her condition from the nursing homes they placed her in lack of care and compassion ultimately leading her to an infection they refuse to treat resulting in her death one day before her birthday. The worst part about it she used to work for the hospital and loved it dearly. However heard them nurses and doctors asking her if she wanted to die they would aid her. Them not knowing I was in the other room. Upon her death they escorted me out of the hospital and told me I should never return. Unless I needed medical treatment. I filed a complaint they told me it would be under review but refused to give me any other information. I have contacted several attorneys to no avail. When it advised me unfortunately a large proportion of the attorneys in ********* are under retainer for the hospitals so they cannot advise me because they're under retainer. There is no justice in this world except for those who take it for themselves or sit idly by and watch it rot.

Dont work here. The pharmacy department decided to do a department reset and forced all the technicians to be demoted. It would have been fine but this company is shoddy. Since there is no union to represent the staff, they not only demoted them but also removed 5%-10% if their pay that they worked so hard over the years to earn.

Sharp ****-Stealys radiology department policy for breast cancer evaluation (after you find a lump) is NOT done in a timely manner. This may contribute to the patient getting worse and more invasive procedures from breast cancer. After finding a lump in a breast, the ******************** will NOT schedule you a mammogram. First, you must see your primary care physician, which adds another week or longer to your wait time. After that, the earliest appointments take 30, up to 45 days to get an image mammogram/ultrasound combination. It is ******************** Policy not to let patients get a mammogram separately, so they must wait for the ultrasound, which have fewer appointments available. That means a patient gets no imaging evaluation for up to ***** days, worrying all that time about breast cancer and the possibility of a spreading tumor. You will also find you can call and call for a cancellation, but the patient must get it at the right time-impossible. Despite dishonesty from the Radiology Supervisor, telling the Patient Advocate I would be put on a waiting list. There is no waiting list or triage for imagining. As after calling for cancelations, the scheduler said I just missed one. She told me the canceled appointments go to the next person calling for an appointment. These are basic tests, like an x-ray. Making women wait because they do not have enough equipment, technicians or evaluators is unacceptable. These should be referred outside Sharp, if they cannot provide a timely appointment. At Sharp, I have experience long wait times before, but making a women wait or anyone who might have cancer wait like everyone else is not ethical treatment. According to Sharps former Medical Director, ******************************* MD (Director **** to ****), Its always encouraging to hear leadership talking about the patient first. Thats the right way to make a decision in medicine. Sharp ********************* is not following the founders vision.

I came into the ** at 8am this morning its 8:30p still in **. I was not fed anything. Whether it was a clear diet or not, I was not allowed to eat my food before being placed in the back of Er without my tray. I reported it but nothing was done. Im addition to that, the RN forced medications into my veins despite IV line showing indications of obstructed line ultimately leaving my arm very swollen and pain. 13 hours later, nothing to eat pushed into the back of **.

Heres what ***** about SHARP: Coordination of ************* care is fragmented. Nurses dont follow or even look at doctors orders. They do what they think they should do. Nurses have an attitude of dont question me, sit down and shut up. Our family has had a relative there for over a month. Two readmissions in that time very likely due to their eagerness to discharge him and failure to provide adequate instructions for aftercare. Now he is dying. They wont even let more than two family members stay with him at one time. He is stuck there and cant be transported to hospice where the policy is to allow the dying person comfort of family. And, a piece of advice for you out there, dont allow a chaplain in the room. One of them came in laughing hysterically for five minutes. Unreal.
