How is this company even in business and not behind bars for literally stealing money from people in a bad situation. Just like others that have posted, I was going through a divorce and needed to consolidate some Credit cards. So this guy ********************* calls me and says hey we send a letter to the credit card companies and they have to answer us in a certain amount of time or they have to forgive your loan amount and you just pay us $315 for 24 months. A total of $7,584. I kept my end of the bargain and not only did they not do what they said they would do, those credit card companies charged off the debt and screwed up my credit for 7 years. So my 800 credit not only plummeted, but now I cant do anything until they fall off. I tried calling TransUnion, Equifax and Experion and they all said there is nothing they can do.So I called these Jokers and they actually said they would refund me $800 for my trouble which is an actual joke and guess what, they lied again. Please please please stay the heck away from this scam and these crooks.

I am hoping this is not the same company I have enrolled in. I am paying $319.00 a month, and was hoping to be done (according to my counselor) in July 2024. How the program was explained to me we are a government company, and work on your behalf to where the creditors have to prove the account; and for any that are proventhe monies paid will be in escrow and used to pay off the debt settlement. To date, after being in the program for over 3 yearsI have not been contacted or received any updates from anyone. You knowno news, is good newsright? ****! I just received a notice from a creditor. Which leads me to believe NOTHING has been done on my behalf. Upsetting is an understatement! With that said I began looking for emails of my documents and tried calling number does not work. Emailednothing! So I decide to ****** and here I amreading all of the horrible reviews confirming my fears this company is a scam. Its disheartening companies take pride in bamboozling people at their most vulnerable moments. The only consistency is the withdrawal on the 16th of every monthwithout fail. All I am looking for is a phone call and an update so I can move forward. This makes it hard to trust another company. And if I remember correctlyI was told they were accredited and I think I even verified. I have a plethora of emotions right now. I am hoping this is not the company I am enrolled with. If it is they are thieves no other way to put it; and authorities need to put them out of business so they can no longer take advantage of others. I feel like a sucker!!

Do not ever use Provident Solutions. They will promise the moon on debt settlement and deliver nothing. They told me that creditors take out insurance on the consumer debt and I wouldn't have a problem getting my debts taken care of. A year and a half later, I am canceling my account and trying to get what I can back in money. They take forever to do anything, if they do it. They were supposed to be contacting my creditors and when I saw what was being sent, I knew I had been lied to. The letters were to the 3 credit bureaus with a diluted message asking them to write off my bad debt. The letters didn't even list the debts. Letters were not to creditors. See they lie and you will be left with no recourse.DO NOT USE PROVIDENT SOLUTIONS.

I believe this company misrepresented their service verbally when contacted by the customer. I also signed their agreement but was told another story regarding what would happen to my debt. When applying for a loan, I found out that we still owed the debt despite paying this company over $6000 several years back. I am not sure how to proceed at this point but am seeking legal advice. I believe they took advantage of an elderly person who had a stroke and was unable to fully comprehend what was going on.

The client enrolled into the program on July 23, 2019. At that time the client signed an agreement and completed a Quality Control Call to ensure the client understood the services we render. During the quality control call the client was asked a series of questions, one of them being, Do you understand Provident Solutions is not a debt consolidation, debt settlement company or credit restoration company and that we are not attorneys nor are we attorney backed?, to which the client answered YES. The client was also asked, Do you understand Provident Solutions DOES NOT pay off your alleged creditors with the funds that you pay, rather those funds go directly to our fees?, again the client answered YES. The client was then sent a Welcome letter to read at their own leisure. Over the course of the program we prepared and sent out 4 documents on accounts enrolled and the client was spoken to monthly. We did complete work on the account and asking for all her money back when services were rendered here is not something the company can entertain. Furthermore the client was finished with her scheduled fees in January 2021. Even though clients finish their scheduled fee schedule we still work on the clients account should they receive something new. The client is still active here and should she wish to speak with us directly she can call us Monday- Friday 7 am 5 pm pacific Standard Time.

I was contacted by this company to assist with debt consolidation. They told me they contact people to assist when they have large balances. They set me up on a monthly payment i could afford. In doing this i was with the understanding this company would pay off my debt to the creditors that the debt was created with. They even asked me to provide them with the creditor names, amounts and addresses for payoff. After paying off all of the money due to Provident Solutions, and providing them with any correspondence from the creditors, I received a summons for court 3 years later. When I called to speak with someone at Provident Solutions concerning this matter, I was asked to send them a copy of the summons. At this time they let me know they were only a document preparation company and do not pay creditors off. This statement completely took me by surprise as I feel I was mislead. I asked what they did with my money and they let me know that those funds were used to prepare documentation to try to reduce the amount I would owe the creditor and possibly get it completely taken care of. This is totally unexceptable!! I am now out several hundred dollars and am being sued!!

In specific circumstances clients are due a refund, for this clients case she fell under this category. We have reached out to the client as well as resent the document that requires her attention. The client is still active here and should she wish to speak with us directly she can call us Monday- Friday 7 am 5 pm pacific Standard Time.

I started the program with Provident Solutions in February 2021, made payments of$388.98 per month, was told they were contacting my creditors for proof of my debt when ************ sent me a summons for collection, so I dropped them from my account and they lowered my payments to $372.47 after 18 payments of $386 and resolving nothing, all creditors stated they complied with addiquit information, l ended up having to claim bankruptcy and them not giving me any refund at all, going to take them to small claims court, they are a dishonest SCAM
