    This is overall a scam. My website is filled with Grammer errors, the payout feature won't release funds, the phone line never works and when it does it's nothing but scams. Anytime I contact customer service they give me a a day wait for a response.

    ******* company with an overpriced app that doesn't even work offline. In Oct 23 I tried canceling my account because my business is seasonal, the *** on the phone told me instead of canceling to keep paying, call back in the spring and they would refund me 6 winter months.I did that April '24 and they were able to do it in 5 minutes on the phone.This year '25 I've spent a week trying to contact them, they say someone will get back to me and nobody does. After finally pestering them enough I get a canned response (also convinced every person in chat is an AI) saying my request is denied, but stating reasons that seem like they didn't even look into it at all. I dont think I've reached a single person the whole way through this interaction. People on the phone say the same thing and says someone will get back to me.The last person on the phone sounded like she was out of breath at the top of a mountain or something, I could barely hear her with the background noise so loud.Kind of more upset about the absolute garbage customer support than their shady practices

    My Experience with Housecall Pro: ********************* and Unfair Charges Im sharing this in hopes that others can avoid the frustration Ive faced. Recently, I tried to cancel my subscription with Housecall Pro before my billing cycle renewed. I followed the proper stepsreaching out by phone multiple times, leaving messages, and waiting for a response. Unfortunately, no one ever returned my calls.Despite my efforts to cancel in time, the subscription auto-renewed and I was charged. Whats worse is that even after the charge, no one from Housecall Pro has followed up or responded to my requests for support. Ive been left in the dark, with no resolution, no refund, and still no communication from their team.This experience has been incredibly disappointing. When you trust a company with your business tools and finances, basic customer service should not be too much to ask. At the very least, there should be a clear, accessible way to cancel a subscription without having to chase them ******* anyone considering Housecall Pro: be cautious. Make sure you have everything documented, and dont expect quick or easy support if things go wrong.

    Do not, I mean DO NOT waste your money. In the past 3 years we've been with this company they have updated the software and every single update it comes with errors and NO WAY TO FIX THEM. Their coding is subpar and they need to invest the money we spend in a more efficient manner. They created these updates that create a new invoice number every time you send the SAME invoice to the same customer. Who needs that? Did they create a way for you to stop that from happening? About 4 months later.... When you bulk invoice, it changes your invoice to match the first invoice in the bunch, except the pricing........... WHAT. Why would it change any invoice? We are trying to let people know these are still due. Now the message from before the bulk invoice is completely gone, no where to be found. SUPER CONVENIENT. No one can help, they just submit feedback to their team. Also customer service can take ***** minutes to respond to you but if you don't respond within 15 minutes, your chat is cancelled and you have to start over with someone new.... just don't do it. literally just dont..

    I canceled 6 months later they charged me for a year. Its very difficult to cancel. You call to cancel they then supposedly call you a different day to confirm its all ********. I have a meeting to supposedly cancel. Its very irritating.

I do see that there was only one cancellation on the account, and it dates to April of this year, that was the reason for the charge, the cancellation request came after the charge.     This company is horrible with communication and service. I have emailed them called them tried to cancel my account that they charge me $189 for then dont use.

    I've been using Housecall Pro since August 2024. As far as scheduling software, vehicle tracking, and general day-to-day business management it's great! I really do love that part of the platform, and it's the only reason I didnt give this a one-star review.Unfortunately, their website creation, management, and *********** is an absolute disaster. They built me a decent-looking website and promised to help rank me at the top of ******. That has not happened. In fact, Ive seen zero movement in terms of search rankings.Worse yet, they completely lock you out of your own site, so you cant bring in your own SEO expert or marketing vendor to do the job that Housecall Pro clearly isnt capable of. All updates and changes have to go through someone overseas (apparently in the ***********), who rarely responds to calls or emails and when they do, the turnaround time is painfully slow.I do plan to leave the service, but first I need to get my new website up and running. Once thats done, Ill be canceling the $130/month website service and will finally be free to hire someone who can actually deliver results.Bottom line: Housecall Pro is great for software but their website and marketing service is outsourced, ineffective, and incredibly frustrating to deal with. Very disappointed.his
