      Thanks for the message. In multiple emails and on the website ********************************************************************************************* we state that if the background check company Checkr has to check in the ** counties, there are extra charges. These are pass through charges that GoShare gets charged for the ** search. This driver's background check shows the ** charges, so these fees are valid.

      They took $50 from my acct and never provided me with the product.

While I cannot describe on this public forum why this driver applicant failed his background check, more information about what could fail the check can be found here: *********************************************************************************************. Unfortunately, the background check fee is valid and non-refundable.

      When filling out an application I paid $50 for a background check. It has since been 2 months with no results. This company is a fraud. They take your money for a background check and do halt your application. This should be handled.

      Thank you so much for reaching out. We have communicated with **************** multiple times about the delay in his background check. Though I cannot confirm it is the case with this applicant, many times the delay is because there is a negative **** on the background and the county or state clerks office has to take extra time to verify. Unfortunately, this manual process does take extra time. As stated in our Delivery Professional Terms of Service, the background check is not refundable.

      On January 5,2023 I agreed to pay $75 for delivery of a $300 couch from a store that is 15 minutes to my home. I was charged $299 by this company. I reached out through the only customer service option - a chat box - and was told theyd look into this. I never heard back and was charged full amount. There was also significant damage done to my door by the delivery process. Last week I reached out to the company requesting a refund and resolution of the damages and all I received in response was an email saying they were not doing anything about this. This is fraudulent behavior and this company is cheating customers out of their hard earned money each day. They should be brought to justice and recourse to protect the customer. Appears to be deceptive business practices, no customer service, fraudulent charges, and no accountability for damages done to my property. Not even a phone call or explanation. I trust bbb will ensure this company stops its deceptive and fraudulent business practices to protect customers.

       This explanation reflects continuous poor judgment by the company in furthering their deceptive and fraudulent business practices as dozens of bbb reviews indicate.  I did not authorize a charge of $300 to my card for delivery of a $300 couch that is 10 minutes away.  My complaint also provides support for damages to my home by delivery; this is not even responded to.  Horrific that this company continues to do business and cheat customers without recourse.

      your responses continue to lack any substance to them and filled with lies. I submitted the form and was quickly told it would not be covered with no explanation. I even asked for the drivers statement as he had acknowledged that day the damage.  But no reply.  You clearly dont care about facts or customer satisfaction or doing honest business so its important for future customers to be made aware of this before they are treated in this manner.

      You ordered a vehicle that was too small for the XL couch that you purchased so two trips were necessary to safely transport it.  The driver had to wait an extra long time at the store because of some payment issue. The manager would not release the couch. When the driver did arrive to your house, the couch had to be delivered downstairs. All of this plus the travel time was included in the amount you were charged.

      given the numerous complaints here and otherwise on the web about the deceptive pricing and charges I suggest you take a closer look at how you conduct business. Clearly many many customers who are either overcharged, deceived, or at a minimum mislead. 
      In my situation, I followed the instruction and recommendation of the website - put in the couch, put in the location of pickup and drop off, put in this would be down steps.  I still dont have clarity why I was charged 4X the price that was advertised by what must have been an intentionally low estimate to defraud customers to use your service.   I agreed to pay $75 not $300.  I do not know why you continue to conduct business in such a manner.  Fair and transparent pricing is clearly something you dont look to achieve. Very disappointing and wrong conduct.

      I signed up to drive for goshare, they emailed me a activation code to activate that I'm not receiving..the phone number there's no way to talk to a live person there's no email

      I contracted with business to pick up a Queen ****** (bed frame, mattress, box spring) and matching single dresser on November 17 that was purchased from Seller on ******** for $450, and paid $303 for a mover and a helper to transport to my home. The items were all picked up at the Seller's location but were delivered without the headboard to the set, rendering it unusable, and the mattress was wet and soiled from contact with the bed of the pickup truck. I filed a Damage Claim and provided photos of the items before and after, but the claim was denied (Damage Claim for Project ******) I am a senior citizen who relied on this company's claims of professional service, but the company is not being accountable for the negligence and incompetence of the movers they provided, and is sticking me with all of the damages from this botched job.

      I desire a refund because my furniture is dirty, skuffed, soiled, and and charged me overtime fees. On or about 2:50pm, 9/21/22 I called to confirm with the accepted driver (****) that he could access the Army base and that his truck was not a pickup truck. The driver confirmed he had a box truck, and he could access the base. At 5:30pm, same day, the driver & additional purchased helper (******) arrived as scheduled to pick up my newly purchased, unboxed 5-piece sectional and 5-piece patio set from Value City. On arrival, the driver had a passenger and dogs in the back of his box truck. **** and ****** put my items in the box truck as I expressed I was moving to another state in 48 hours. When everyone arrived to my community on or about 6:20pm, **** and his passenger (his wife) found out they were not allowed to access the Army base. I'm unsure why. However, ****** was able to access the base with no issue and offered to help me. **** suggested that he would leave my items on the side of the road and allow ****** to finish the move. I did not agree with this. It took ****** five trips to deliver everything in his pickup. The seat cushions from my furniture sets are soiled. I had to reassemble a recliner that lost a part during the move from one truck to the other and greatly inconvenienced to pay overtime as if it's all my fault. ******'s customer service exceeded all my expectations. He should receive a higher wage than ****. ****** truly did all the work! Also, **** did not care about my furniture. He became careless of my items once he realized he wouldn't be able to deliver it. I'm extremely distraught by the conversation I had with customer service as well. While communicating with them via telephone, I was informed this wasn't ****'s fault. I strongly disagree. I would like to be reimbursed for the damages to my furniture, overtime fees and poor customer service that was provided. I will never use this service again.

      Thank you so much for reaching out to us about this complaint. We take each of these very serious and definitely want to get it addressed.  **************** booked a project with GoShare on 9/21/22.  The delivery location for the project was a military base.  After review, every military base has different standards and requirements for access to the base.  Unfortunately, unless a person is actively familiar with the base, it's hard to know what those requirements are. 

      **************** booked a driver and a helper to move her furniture.  The driver had a citation on his license so was not permitted on the base.  The helper that was assigned completed the project by going back and forth to the base gate to get the furniture.  The overtime that was accrued on the project was only for the 2nd delivery professional since the 1st was only able to go to the base gates.  We removed any overtime that the 1st driver would have accrued.  No adjustment is needed. 

      **************** submitted a damage claim to GoShare on 9/24/22. The Claims team responded to her requesting pictures of the damage on the cargo.  We are waiting for a response from **************** at this time.  Once she responds to the Claims team, further action can be taken.
