      Less than 1hr. $35!!!!! It says Public Parking, usually fair rates. This one is really a TRAP!No sign at the Entrance.

      I was having lunch with a friend in La Jolla today. I went into the Ace Parking (******************************************* *****) which is close to the restaurant. It says public parking without listing the pricing anywhere. When I was on my way out, I saw a small sign which said $40 flat rate. They purposely hide the sign from outside so that you will not know the parking price until you go into the parking garage. This is clearly a scam. As of now, there are 14 complaints on this issue on ****** Maps review.

      All parking rates are posted at ****************** before entering the controlled parking area. Please be advised that all ACE locations give customers the option to turn around and depart the garage if they find the pricing is more than they are willing to spend. You had every opportunity to find another location to park without incurring a charge from ACE. We regret you did not like our pricing, but rates are determined by supply and demand. Furthermore, the ********** Jolla offers free street parking for up to two hours. Therefore, you had multiple alternatives available to you during your visit.

      You are clearly not telling the truth. Unlike normal parking garages, in which rates are posted on the way in, you did not. I am not the only one who fell into your trap. Here are the reviews from ****** Map users."Beware of this tourist trap. $40 to park here. We were here for 2+ hours. No signs of pricing anywhere and no receipt from machine. ...""Would give zero stars if possible. $40 to park just while we had lunch. Meanwhile, Valet parking was only $14. No price displayed before entering, only a sign that said if you lost your ticket it would be $40 well SURPRISE its $40 ""This used to be my go-to spot for parking in La Jolla. $20 bucks for parking wasnt so bad for a few hours and lunch. Its now, $40! No warning. No notice before you commit to parking,..." "Small sign inside garage saying 40 dollar flat rate if you go in and that's only visible once it's too late to turn around...""Ridiculous nothing posted for cost at all anywhere. 11 minutes cost $40.00!!!! What a total ripoff ""You don't know the price till you're already got a ticket...""...Yes it's a ripoff and there's cheaper street parking to be found but why is the price not displayed outside? You have to drive in and get a ticket to find out how much it is."
