      Worst pet store and pet company. This review is for their "credit card" or pay card i should say. I stopped going in store and started purchasing online because I can not handle the ghetto and rude employees. Im always prompted with the pre approvals when I checkout. So on June 16, 2025, I decided to take the discount they offered for application approval. My order was around $450, offered me like a $100 something off my purchase. I applied and got approved for the store pay card and not the *************** card. On top of that information received a $450 credit limit, laughable. 700 credit score, over 20 accounts and over 60k in available credit with a 9% utilization. So I called right away and told them to cancel that application. Do not issue that card to me, I dont want that trash hitting my credit report. They said they closed it kn the spot. 4 days later i get a security notification that I had a new account on my credit report. They opened the account on the 18th of June when I called on the 16th and they said it was closed. So yesterday on the 20th of June I called them. **************** is horrible, they are polite-ish but unintelligent and apparently can speak English but can not comprehend it. They said my account was never opened, thou its open on my EQ credit report and when I called to talk to them. Their automated answering service confirmed my account is open and ready to use. So it was not closed on the 16th and they vehemently still kept saying it was and trying to deny what I was saying even thou I offered to send them proof to a secure messaging system that they denied. Stay away from Petco, only Chewy and ******** for me here on out. Disputing with ** to remove this fraudulent account now. Karma is everything, I am going to leave it at that.

      Had complaint about local ***************** and contacted customer service email as given on ****** reply was that they don't monitor that email. Wrote to 4 officers and no reply. Called customer service. Very foreign and horrible. Don't go. What way to run a company

      I took my dog for grooming to the *********, ** location on a Wednesday 6/11 ***** *. was the groomer. I got a text message at 1:40pm that my dog **** was ready for pick up. At 2:34pm ***** called me stating that **** has been ready for over an hour and I need to pick him up now. She sounded annoyed, I was working and could not leave immediately to pick him up. I paid extra to have his teeth cleaned and they were not cleaned also she did not clean his ears. This is 8 months later because when I took him 8 months ago I had the worst customer service experience ever with ***** ***. She was incredibly rude acted like I was inconveniencing her.

      Purchased a leaf for my dog at the ****** WI store. The store manager rang it up. As soon as I said I didn't want to join their club, she got red in the face and became very rude. She made sure to threaten me with "well, you better hold on to your receipt." Needless to say, I did. Today (5 days later) I came to return it and was told they can't return it because they can't scan the transaction barcode. They are refusing to give me my $25.

      Date of Visit: April 14, 2025 Location: **************************************************** I am writing to share my recent experience at the Petco store on ***********************, which unfortunately left me feeling very uncomfortable and distressed. On the evening of April 14, I visited the store around 7:10 PM to purchase some items.While in the store, I encountered an employee who refused to assist me, stating that they were closing at 8 PM and would not provide the items I needed. When I asked for the employee's name for clarification, he declined to give it. I then requested to speak with the manager, hoping to resolve the situation. Instead, I was confronted by an individual who appeared aggressive and was holding a stick. This person instructed me to leave immediately while making threatening remarks.I felt that my concerns were not addressed adequately by the manager, who simply told me to leave without taking any action against the aggressive individual. As I left the store, the person followed me outside and took a photo of my car, which made me feel unsafe and concerned about my personal security.I hope that this review will bring attention to the behavior I experienced, as I believe no customer should be treated in such a manner. It is important for businesses to ****** an environment that is welcoming and respectful to all customers, regardless of their background. I hope future customers do not encounter similar incidents.

      Membership plan is nearly inescapable. Know that even though paying monthly the terms requires payment through end of yearly contract. This is not transparent and contacting customer service regarding account management is made as difficult as possible.

      I took my dog in for an annual check up. There was an overgrowth of yeast and Cocci in her ears. They recommended a cleaning that would cost around $200 dollars. I agreed to have them clean my dog's ear. After the procedure was done they recommend a follow up to check if the procedure went well. Two weeks later I had the Vet check my dog's ear and everything was fine. I proceed to my car only to be called back in for additional charges. I thought a follow up was just to make sure the procedure went well, but no it was for Petco to charge extra for no reason at ****** is almost like a mechanic doing an oil change for your car and asking you to come back for a follow up to ensure that no oil is leaking then charge you more money. I wouldn't recommend doing business with Petco as they only want to profit as much as possible from consumers.

      Just had the worst experience with the Kapolei Petco grooming and had to share. Took my standard poodle, ****** in with clear instructions. I wanted his "Lamb haircut," long afro, shaved nose/eye areas, short body/legs, clean paws, ear hair removal, and a*** expression. I even showed a picture.But when I picked him up, they shaved him completely bald, literally nothing like what I asked for. And they charged me $135 for it. I talked to the manager, Jaycia, and she was super rude and unhelpful. She even threatened me, saying her husband worked for Petco HR and that nothing I did would matter. She refused to give me a refund too.Honestly, I wouldnt recommend this place at all, especially if ***** is the one grooming. Just wanted to warn everyone before you make the same mistake.

      ************************** someday delivery is a lie. February 12, 2025 I ordered my cat's food and as February 21, 2025 I still have not received my cat's food. Spoke with a ************************** customer service representative and she claimed that ************************** only offers 2-5 day delivery and not the same day delivery. I informed the representative that ************************** has their claim in print, and that either she was lieing or it is ************************** that's lieing. My warning to other pet parents customers is take caution and not to trust ************************** printed claims on same day delivery.

      Their policy changed without notification resulting in me not receiving a paid for item.They will not get it to me in a timely manner and refunds take 1-10 business days. If I was notified of policy changes I could have made accommodations. They dont resolve issues and customer service was extremely poor.
