On Saturday, August 13, 2022, we attended an RV show in **********, **. We found a travel trailer we liked and asked about financing. We filled out paperwork and were told we could get financing at ****%. We have a sales contract for a sales price of $37519.40, which included the tax and license fees. We put $500 down. We were told to expect a call on Tuesday, August 16 to set an appointment to pick it up and go through a detailed orientation. At that time we would need to bring proof of insurance for the trailer, proof of ** residency and a cashiers check for $5,500. On Wednesday, the 17th, I called the ******* dealership, to set that appointment since we had not received a call. The person I spoke to told me he was waiting on approval before he could set our appointment. I didnt know what approval was needed, but just thought it was a dealership issue. After speaking with my husband, I called the next day to see exactly what that meant. I called twice, once around 10 am and again around noon. My called were not returned so we decided to drive to the dealership to get this cleared up. When we arrived we asked to talk to a sales manager. When he came down, he told us he had just gotten an approval for a loan for us and the terms were different than what we were told on Saturday at the show. The interest rate was now 15%. He told us the contract we signed on Saturday was only a preliminary contract. We feel like this is very deceptive.

Dear BBB,This year February I've purchased a Roadtrek Zion Class B ** from La Mesa RV ************* *******.The ** was falsely advertised by an uneducated new hire sales rep ************************* as a Lithium battery packed ** which can run on it's ** only using its batteries for 4-6 hours. On the delivery day it turned out the ** only capable to run the ** for *** 1hou on battery. We tried to cancel the sales but a slimey sales person ********************* assured us they can fix the problem and they put it in writing on the due bill that they will add extra batteries. La mesa is not answering to my calls anymore and they are refusing to fix the problem. This company caused us tens of thousands in damages. Their employee are ignorant, arrogant, money grabbing monsters.

Date of the transaction: 06/04/2022 The amount of money we paid the business: $172,910.24 What the business committed to provide you: A new camper van with working components, validated by a Pre-Delivery Inspection What the nature of the dispute is: We purchased a van that we were promised went through the Pre-Delivery Inspection and everything was in working order. We quickly found that the solar charging for both the chassis battery and house battery does not work, and the fridge does not cool. We drove the van back to the dealer (its only other trip coming home from the dealer) and it has been there for nearly 2 months. We dropped it off June 17th. The management, specifically the General Manager, has been avoiding calls and avoiding finding a resolution for the issues that they: sold us a camper with critical components not working, and have not been handling the issues with any kind of haste while we pay insurance and car payments on the camper, which should have never left the lot with these issues that should have been caught by the Pre-Delivery Inspection. We would like them to pay for at least what we have paid on the van since owning it, they are responsible for selling a camper in working order. Whether or not the business has tried to resolve the problem: The van has been at their service center for nearly 2 months, we dropped it off June 17th. Of the 22 problems we had originally agreed for them to fix, 11 of them still have parts on order, with no install date in sight. We can view the activity of the camper via the Mercedes.me Connect app and we can see that the van has sat for 3-5 days at a time before someone is coming to open a door to work on the issues. There is little to no effort to resolve the problems in a timely manner. Account/order/tracking number: La Mesa Stock Number: SN175716. VIN: *****************

Thank you for bringing this concern to our attention.

La Mesa RV has been working with this customer on his concerns, which the customer describes as being issues from the manufacturer. To remedy these issues, certain parts must be ordered and shipped, which can contribute to time out of service. Our team has conferred and is doing everything possible to expedite the services.

La Mesa corporate has already been in touch with the customer about concessions for time out of service and has advised the customer that such discussions are premature as the coach is still in service. La Mesa is committed to continuing to work with the customer.

This complaint does not raise new issues not already addressed with the customer.

      Thank you.
