Company has been engaged in unauthorized billing my paypal account for the past 11 months. They have charged me $34.95 every month for the past 11 months, beginning in July 2023. I never requested services or a subscription and, in fact, called to dispute a $0.95 charge in June 2023 which was credited back to me. When a user activates their account, they must provide an electronic signature authorizing Intelius to charge their payment method as described, including for the automatic renewal of their membership. Our Billing Terms are conspicuously explained on our registration page and in our Terms of Use. Customers are sent a confirmation email for any orders placed on the site.
It has been confirmed that the charges associated with the payment method used were disputed, resulting in a chargeback. When a chargeback occurs, it indicates that there is a dispute with the account and it is advisable to contact the financial institution directly to address any concerns regarding refunds. The membership was promptly cancelled and deactivated, ensuring that no additional charges will be incurred. In addition, due to the dispute, access to this account will no longer be available.

After a thorough investigation, we have determined that no cancellation attempts were made through any of these channels prior to today when the subscription was canceled online by Ms. **************** a courtesy, we have cancelled all memberships and refunded **** Judges account back to the payment option used to enroll, and no further charges will be incurred. Our Billing Terms are conspicuously explained on our registration page and in our Terms of Use. Customers are sent a confirmation email upon signup. If a user completes their initial ********************** inquiry but does NOT enter their payment information, they will not be charged and no membership will be created.
In the event of proclaimed fraud, Intelius requests the billed recipient contact us first to ensure the account in question is thoroughly investigated. When this claim can be justifiably substantiated, the account in question is disabled from further use, all memberships to be cancelled, and all charges to be returned to the payment option holder (up to 12 months due to system limitations).
We have refunded all unauthorized ******** to **************** payment option used to enroll, and no further charges will be incurred.
