      I contributed $499 to the Phantom Robotic Chessboard campaign on Indiegogo on August 22, 2021 (Order #***). The estimated delivery date was February 2023, yet as of June 2025, I have not received the product, a refund, or a credible delivery timeline.The creator has repeatedly changed shipping estimates, citing vague fulfillment stages and a possible retail launch, but has not provided shipping confirmation, tracking numbers, or clear accountability. On June 4, 2025, I submitted a formal refund request, with a five-business-day deadline, directly to the creator and to Indiegogo support. As of June 9, I have received no response.Indiegogos own policies state that creators are expected to either deliver perks or offer refunds if they cannot fulfill contributions. I have followed all of Indiegogos recommended channels and have exhausted reasonable options. The platform continues to host the campaign, despite its failure to deliver products after nearly four years.This is not a case of buyers remorse. It is a clear failure to deliver a paid product with no refund option provided. I am filing this complaint to hold the platform accountable for continuing to host and process payments for campaigns that do not meet basic standards of fulfillment or transparency.

      I have backed 2 projects each for $72. One was for a fire pit and the other was a battery operated light. Both campaigns say campaign under review as they have stopped responding to anyone's messages because they are all way past their shipping dates. Indiegogo doesn't have a way of contacting them to complain their messaging system is AI and useless. Indiegogo doesn't seem to care about all these scam accounts because they do nothing to refund the money spent on those fake campaigns. Indiegogo could easily remove these types of accounts before they are allowed to scam or at least go after the scammers for real instead of their fake account suspension stamp they do.

      I crowdfunded on their site which ended 4/30/25. Funds should have disbursed within 10 days. 3 times they tried to disburse and 3 times failed. There is no customer service even though you pay handsomely for their service. All you can do is email and at their convenience 2-5 days later you hear back. They insist on doing the same thing the same way and expect to get a different outcome. I've sent them a different bank account to try to disburse to but because it takes 2-5 days to hear back, I've got no idea where they (even) tried to send MY money. One thing I know is that it failed again as it's Thursday and they disperse on Thursdays. In other words, you get the attached notice that it failed. You email back with what they say they need, you get a robo answer, then another 2-5 days they respond and if you or they need to ask anything else, robo response and another 2-5 days in an endless cycle of you pion you, bow to us and we will respond (even though you paid us) at our convenience. Is everyone their getting their money/pay? Would they wait this long for the money I paid them? I can answer that NO. Yet they could care less the stress this is causing me. I want my money, I want a timely (within minutes) response to figure out WHAT IS GOING ON WITH MY MONEY.

      I placed an order via Indigogo for a cat water fountain that was slated to ship in December 2024. On March 1 2025, the company that used ******** as a platform, Sippy Paws, emailed me to say they had issues getting their funding from ********, which caused their shipping delays and that shipping would begin in 2 weeks and to confirm my shipping address was still good. I confirmed it and have not received an update or the product I paid $68 for (paid in October 2024). I have repeatedly tried to email Sippy Paws (the company) and have not received any response. Additionally, ********* support does not provide any refund option or ability to lodge a complaint. Therefore, I want to hold ******** liable for hosting a scam business on their platform and not providing any options for recourse.

      I purchased a $400 perk on Indiegogo and as soon as it was bought my account was locked. I did not receive a receipt or any confirmation of my purchase. I can't log in to my account so I can't check anything. I just want my account unlocked and a receipt of my purchase. **************** will not respond to me I just get automated responses. I have the charge on my credit card.

      I paid for a ring in November of 2023 through indiegogo and now am not getting any response and no refund and upon going back to the indiegogo site, there are a lot more people in my situation. I am filing this complaint for a refund of my money and also to prevent this from happening to others.
      I paid 709 for the first ring and 210 for the second ring.

      I backed the project "A Place Among the Undead" in December 2015 (**********************************************************************). I have tried several times over the years to reach the production team and IndieGogo's representatives. It's been 9 years and 3 months since I donated at the BLOOD SUCKERS level for the Blu-Ray/DVD. The estimated shipping date was July 2018, which was nearly 7 years ago! I have never received any of the promised perks, updates ceased in 2019, and the production team made off with the money they received. IndieGogo have helped an organization fleece the public for a project they never intended to finish.

      I assumed Indiegogo was a reputable website, and thus, felt comfortable spending hundreds of dollars backing a campaign for a Projector. This was a scam from the start -- and Indiegogo protected the scammers by simply stating "You can request a refund from the campaign creator". In reality, the campaign creator was not responding to anyone after a certain time period (the required time period, presumably). I made them aware of this, and they did not ********* is a link to the indiegogo scam:*************************************************************************************************************** knowingly facilitates these scams, clearly, as they offer no recourse or resolution to people who were hurt and who lost money. They are essentially providing direct protection to those who seek to intentionally rip off people, and the reason they're willing to do this is because they themselves receive a cut from the money you spend backing a *********** again, AVOID INDIEGOGO like the plague and warn EVERYONE you can too that you will very likely be scammed by this company. *** does not care about you, they do not care about whether the creator of a campaign is real or entirely fake, because they get money and are protected.AGAIN, AVOID INDIEGOGO, AT ALL COSTS. DO NOT GET SCAMMED BY GIVING THIS WEBSITE YOUR MONEY. Warn everyone so that they too do not get scammed.

      The company let scammers just take our money and hid behind saying our money were donations to an idea. No where does it say donation. It says pledge money to the campaign. I tried getting a refund from the campaign manager, and recieved noresponse. I only got a response from ************************ when I did chargebacks with my creditcard. Now I recieved a notice from my credit card saying indiegogo told them my pedge was just a donation and they have now taken my money back. On the discussion on the page, according to other people in the discussion , they impersonated a known company, and the known company has nothing to do with this.
