      On June 14, 2023, I paid VFS Global, the ************* *** Center, $86.84 for a **** application. *** is commissioned by the ****** ******** of ******* Affairs to handle all visitor **** applications in the US. However, only after I paid and submitted this application, their website showed there was no available appointment date at the ************* *** center in June 2023. The *** customer service representative told me that I will have to submit and pay for a separate application to the ******* ** *** center to get an earlier appointment, and then cancel and apply for a refund for this application with the ************* *** center --- which I did. But since then, VFS Global has not refunded the $86.84 fee of the unprocessed application with the ************* *** center, despite multiple contacts over emails and phone calls. The communications were not constructive as the representatives constantly ignored the issue of cancellation and refund and started to talk about completely unrelated topics like website login. The *** website provided a refund request form, but it refuses to proceed without an appointment number even when no appointment was made. This is a frustrating experience of applying for a visitor **** for *******. The application reference number is SanFra-******-****.

      I applied for a passport. I missed some documents. Ads per the email, I cut two papers. Even I called customer care. For more clarification, I checked with them. They never mention anything about the third missing document . I thought, like others, I could print the label, but it was different . I told him to cancel it. Then I get the email again about the online document that is not applicable, and it still does not say I am missing the third document. When I called again, the customer service person told me about the third missing document. Then he canceled the and said they would refund the money. For that whole call, I charged 25 $.       VFS Global handles the **** requirements for most of the countries. I am trying to update my son's OCI (Overseas Citizen of *****) card, as his passport has changed. I have uploaded and sent all the required documentation. However, VFS keeps saying that a photo uploaded was not up to their standards and new photo needs to be uploaded. In the application, we have to upload two pictures. One 2in by 2in and another 1 in by 3in. However, the information from VFS never mentions which one needs re uploading and what was wrong with the original upload. When we try to re-upload the pictures, they charge $8.77 per try. This goes on for quite sometime. Their support is non-existent. Calling their ***** number charges us $2.85 per minute (and a minimum of 10 minutes will be charged each time) to speak with an agent, who obviously does not have answers to the questions. So, for a simple renewal, we so far ended up paying more than $150 in application fees, pictures (the picture requirements are not normal and no one in ****** knows how to accommodate VFS picture size demands), ***** shipping (they do not accept any other form), re-upload of documentation (again, when they send the e-mail saying they need documentation, they do not specify which documents are needed to be re-uploaded). They never respond to e-mails to their support department. Overall VFS ***** money out of customer wallets without ever providing valuable service. It is very frustrating for ** citizens to deal with this company, that handles the **** process for many countries. The only aim of VFS is to make money from all the available ways. I have uploaded a communication from VFS that do not show which documentation is needed, as an example.

      VFS GLOBAL provides services processing applications related to ****** immigration. They process these applications and forward them to the ****** embassy. in this process they would claim that the application is incomplete and partially filled or proof of eligibility documents have not been provided when all the necessary documents would have been already provided to begin with.Then they request to resubmit the documents and then it all starts to bundle up. For uploading documents to their website *************************************************** they charge $1 per page and to upload an application it sometimes requires consumers to pay for $5-$25 and then when they don't act on your application, consumers are bound to reach out via customer care number @ ************ for which the charges are $2.50 per minute and the person on the call doesn't know anything about the process leading consumers to explain and rake up minutes and ending up with huge credit card bills.I would like to report their fraudulent practice of charging consumers. I request that their practices be investigated and help consumers get better results and save them heart ache and hard earned dollars.       I am just trying to schedule an appointment for a **** application for ******** for my wife I must work through VFS Global - and use their online computer system They admit their computer system is not fully working this has now been over 6 weeks and they are not able to assist me I have talked to two Supervisors (****** and ******) I spent 2 hours on the phone today and they are not able to help me . and they cannot connect with me VFS Global ************* offices or resolve their computer issues I have purchased a home in ******** and have bought my tickets to fly on July What do i do to resolve this ?       VFS Global is the only provider of OCI card services. The estimated time to complete the process is 11 weeks. I put in my application and paid for it in September of 2022. The Indian government's website status says the status is "Under Process" since October 4, 2022. I still have not received either a reject or OCI card. Every time I've attempted to get VFS Global to take any action on my behalf, they've told me I need to contact the ****** government without providing any specific contact info - email address, phone number, etc. When I visit the Indian government's website, it says ask VFS Global my OCI status questions. I've found a handful of email addresses on the Indian government's website and emailed them, too, all with no response. Seeing that VFS Global is the only provider of this OCI application service, they should have a clear path for customers to escalate and get resolution.

      Recently I have an urgent need for a *********** ***** I tried to make an appointment with VFS Global ************* but the system didn't allow me to make a payment no matter what I tried (different browsers, different computer, clearing the cache, etc.). In the end my information was even flagged as an "invalid user" preventing me from proceeding in the system. Their customer service was also horrible: they only repeat useless suggestions like "clear your cache"; they are very irresponsive and don't care about actually helping you. A company like VFS shouldn't exist and shouldn't be a monopoly in this **** application business.

      Date of Transaction: 11/21/2022 Payment Fees: $214.90 Plus Shipping. I have sent documents to this business, which checks **** documents and sends it to the ****** Embassy. I usually use CKGS Global, but ***** only allows VFS Global to handle this service. My issue is the company is continuously asking for more documents, which were never asked before in the **** process which we have done multiple times before and were not in the supporting checklist. We have sent it twice, but VFS Global is still asking for more documents that are unrelated to the **** process. When trying to call them, they charge by the minute, which makes it difficult to contact the business without them trying to waste my time and my money. I believe that they are trying to extract as many funds as they can before they will reject the application, because this has never happened before in the application process. Usually, if a document is requested, they state all the documents that are needed once. However, this business is contacting me multiple times, without any sort of end in sight with this behavior. I would either like them to send the documents and application to the Embassy of *****, or I would like a full refund of my amount and shipping costs and my documents sent back to me safely.

      Date of the transaction: 06/26/2022 Amount paid to the business: $168 What the business committed to provide: VFS Global provides **** appointment for Schengen **** with *********** Embassy. What the nature of the dispute is: My wife and I applied multiple times with each time our booked appointments were moved to a much later time, citing system issue at VFS that lead to dates open for appointment without being available. These appointments were later cancelled by system without a reason. Whether or not the business has tried to resolve the problem: Upon asking for refund for the **** fees for our first application, since it was cancelled by VFS Global without any supportive reason, we have only gotten a reply that refund is provided solely on basis of VFS Globals discretion. Since then there has been no update on our refund application and it has deterred us to submit my other refund applications.       I paid upwards of $200 to have my re-issuance of a lost passport processed. My case number is 22-2003183116. When looking through the checklist for re-issuance nowhere is it mentioned that I need to have a verified police report for the loss. Nonetheless that is something that can be obtained and sent to VFS for processing. What can't be obtained is my LOST passport. Despite the application clearly stating at the top "re-issue of passport in lieu of lost" I received an email stating that I am "Missing last ****** passport + copies ***** 2 AND LAST 2 PAGES". I am no longer in possession of this passport so it is quite literally not possible for me to send that to VFS. I tried to resolve this by contacting VFS (on their paid line!) and after being on hold for 70 minutes on 2 calls I was eventually dropped from both. I'm not sure what to do and have an international flight soon and there seems to be no way to contact VFS. The business doesn't seem interested in resolution, which is why I turned to BBB in the hopes of getting some help with my passport application.
