      Project was in place back on January 30, 2023. Received a quote and decided to go with it. Seen the plan and decided to change the swing gate to a rolling sliding gate. Front yard hog wood fence with baseboards. Items measure, ****** came and marked. Work didnt start due to rain until April, rain again . Moved till the 3rd week of March 2023. Worker comes, late to appointment stated on a Friday and was to finish by Monday. One worker. Sending emails to the Manager of workmanship. Worker did not show up several times. Defects in wood, and ***** post splits, several nails in post, sides falling and gaps in post and the length was shorter than measured out. Emails back and forth, lots of photos, videos. Requested someone above to come out and final the job, No communication between workers and office. ******************* and worker received 1 picture. Appointment today ****, no show AGAIN. This is like the 5th time unacceptable.

      They installed my fence and used the old fence wood to attach the fence to my home. They installed a gate that was too big, and now I have to step in my mulch to enter the gate. They faulted me for not approving the right measurements. The installer took the measurements and I moved forward with the project based on the companies expertise to do the job correctly. Now they want to charge me over $1000 to correct their mistake in measuring. Again I was relying on the companies expertise to do the job correctly.

      I live in *******, ***** and I contracted Ergeon to build a new Pressurer Teated Pine Picket fence to surround my property's perimeter. It hasn't been less than 45 days and the fence is already showing signs of green algae and mold throughout the entire length of the newly built fence including the gate. In my opinion this is very unacceptable and such a low quality job performance. If the pressure treated pine wood has mold this early, this would mean that the wood is retaining water. Chemicals in pressure treated wood is suppose to protect the wood from rot. However, if there is moisture already the wood is going to rot quickly and not last years as Ergeon advertised and promised. A customer pays a premium for pressure treated wood to prevent issues like this. I called Ergeon to complain and never received a call back. However, when they are eager to get your business they contact you constantly daily. I had to email my complaint to get a response from management. I also complained about the project manager that built the fence. The gate was unstable and the post supporting it was flimsy. The project manager promised to return and attach a bracket to strengten the fence and make it more sturdy, The project manager lied and never returned. That is so unprofessional. A man is only as good as his word. To add insult to injury, the reply I received from management was a slap in the face. Management just suggested it is "normal: for this to happen. True, but not this quickly. Management suggested I just clean the mold off with a cleaner. However, this is not addressing I was lied to. Nor does it address the fact it should not be happening this early with a newly built fence. We paid too much money to have a moldy rotting fence that is not even 60 days old. This is not acceptable and I will never refer anyone to their business if this is the way they operate. In my opinion we did not get the quality of work we were promised in our contract.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      I have been in contact with Eregon Quality & Escalations Manager for the last week.  It was scheduled and promised that a project manager would come Wednesday 5/3/23 at noon to power wash and apply a clear coat water sealant.  To prevent this issue from happening again.  Once again the project manage assigned to this project has broken this promise and did not show up for the appointment.  Which has been an incovenience to me and I have missed a day of work.  A person is only as good as their word.  How can it be trusted that Eregon will keep their word if I accept their response answer? How do I know they will not continue to break their promise to make this right.  I have had some unfortunate bad past experience of businesses to renege on their promise after a consumer accepts their answer through the BBB platform.  I will accept the  businesses response after they make this right.  I am a consumer that paid for a project, was promised a good job, and I just want Eregon to make this right.

      Complaint type: Problems with products/service.I hired and paid Ergeon to install an 8 ft. vinyl fence with a double gate about 4 months ago, and I have been having problems with my double gate being misaligned, and not opening because both gates are rubbing together. It has also caused damage to the lock on the fence, which I sent them a picture. My hardware on the gate has been damaged due to the misalignment causing the paint to rub off the hardware. I even injured my finger trying to open the gate. I called Ergeon and they had their contractor come out to repair the problem; he thought the gate was shifting and put more cement in the two holes where the vinyl post holds the gate together. Four weeks later the same problem is happening again. I called Ergeon and left a message 3 times for 3 different managers and no one called me back. I had to call them again and spoke to a manager who asked me to send in a video of the problem, and he and 2 other managers would call me back in an hour. I sent pictures in that clearly explained and showed how the lock was misaligned. I have not heard anything back from them, since my last call a few days ago. If I don't get my fence repaired correctly, soon, I will file paperwork to take Ergeon to court for repairs and court costs. It is so funny how they treat you one way when they want your business, and another way when issues start to happen to your fence, and they have been paid. This is very frustrating, and a waste of my time to have to keep calling Ergeon for their errors.

He has been ignoring all my requests to fix the welding and metal frame to my fence which they installed on 08/28/2022. Im not paying for a fence that is dangerous for my family, I have to keep my kids from playing away from it. Its not safe and needs to be repaired asap before I pay for it. Thank you

      Finish Height of 8' Nail up with single ********** on Board Flat Top 1"x 6"Cedar pickets, Round Steel Posts 13 Gauge and 6' PT **************** 4 Pressure treated Pine 2"x 4" Rails with 2" x. 6" Pine Cap Rail, demo and Haul away. Gate-finish height8'built with Cedar picketsand Round Steel Posts and a dual Access Latch with long decorative hinges. Quoted $8,951.00 on June 17, 2022. Invoice # ***** on 09/02/22 of $9,034.00 with no changes made. Neighbor at **********************. complained that the fence was moved over onto her land. ****** with Ergeon met with me and the neighbor and said that Ergeon had built the fence 12' onto her property per the survey. Ergeon never asked to see the plat or survey until AFTER they put up the fence. Next day neighbor decided that she didn't agree to the settlement and so the regional supervisor ******* came out with ****** and measured per the survey provided and determined that the fence needed to be moved over 5". Afterward. I didn't hear back from Ergeon until ******* said it was going to cost me around $4,000.00 to move the fence because they put it in the wrong place. I called Ergeon 6 times before she took my call when I said thatb I had to move the fence or the neighbor was going to *** me in Civil court. I obtained the permit and had the utilities marked prior to the build. On the pre-walk around, ****** was not able to make it on the date we wqere scheduled, so he would come the next day by a certain time. He didn't mske the meeting at thjat time either. He measured and produced the quote without me.

It is though our top priority to correct the situation as soon as possible and make your experience with us completely satisfying.

      We have already contacted you to move forward with this process and, as agreed, we will be waiting for you to tell us when you and your neighbor can meet our regional Manager at your property to wrap up additional details, come up with an agreement about the exact location you both wish, and proceed accordingly.

      I paid for a privacy 7 foot wood fence and gate (over my driveway) and the work was completed in May 2022, by Ergeon ************************************************ The gate that opens and close over the driveway is failing. The post that holds the weight of the gate is bending, and the cement anchor to the post is loosening from the ground. The gate it is about to fail and fall on either myself, child or property, it is not longer functional or safe. The gate is 11 feet wide. I contacted Ergeon ************************************************ the last project manager assigned to my job, *********************** #************, email **************************************** who informed me he was not in my region. The senior customer specialist who arranged the quote for the ************** before work began is ******************************. I have had no follow up for repair, or money for me to pay another contractor for repair. I will provide contract and payment information on 8/23/22.

      I am rejecting this response because:  *********** has not offered any dates to visit site to make any corrections.   *********** has not offered to send any repair person to my property to date.  Ergeon Fence and **************** has not given me any project timeline to make the said repair.  In our short phone conversation Ergeon company referred to me be satisfied with the work once the job was completed.

      I would like to offer company resolution by obtaining fence repair estimates from other companies and request refund amount of cost to cover those repairs.

      This company, Ergeon, is using my home/residential address as their business address: https://www.ergeon.com/fences/cities/**********-county-sacramento-**/ - this site at the bottom lists their location as **************************************************************. This is my home address in a residential neighborhood. I have received multiple mail pieces addressed to Ergeon which I have returned to sender. I contacted Ergeon first via their website with no response. Next, I called ************, which is the phone number listed on the website. ***** answered and advised he is a manager, he would not provide his last initial or name. He would not help in removing my address from the website. Instead, he asked for my information, if I had a fence put up recently, and advised the company is independent contractors, implying there is someone living at this address who has worked for the company - that is 100% untrue. In addition to receiving mail pieces for Ergeon, I had a supplier knock on my front door inquiring about Ergeon. This is a disruption to me during my work day and the supplier also seemed very confused about the information Ergeon is providing to the public. Again, this is a residential neighborhood and my home, not a business of any kind. Ergeon needs to remove my address immediately and provide a valid business address as this seems fraudulent to give false information as well as being a disruption to my personal life.
