I had an appointment with BLS Spain at the ***********, ** location in April 2024.The poor experience begins when preparing for appointment. The website is garbage - important information is missing or inconsistent across pages and links are broken. On the door to the office was barely taped piece of paper with the words "BLS Spain" in what I can only assume is a Comic Sans font. The man who opened the door reeked of marijuana. The corners of the room have crumpled bits of paper. Faded posters of Spanish cities line the walls. Extremely unprofessional.Their website (as this review) only contains information of an $18 BLS fee. No mention of a $5 SMS fee and an additional "photo fee" which is about $15. This gets you a single digital photo. Joke. When you try to pay for these charges with a credit card you are told that they only accept half of the payment with card and the other half must be made with cash "because that's how billing wants it done". Reeks of tax evasion and should be investigated by the ***. Again, this is NOT mentioned on the website so I had to go to the *** (10 min walk in the LA heat) to get the cash. The employees, despite having a "holier than thou" attitude, all acknowledge the issues with the website but it's been several months without any fixes. This company is a joke and only exists because they are a monopoly. They must be held accountable for their incompetence.
