      Not trying to be rude but I just want justice and thats it this company only hires ghetto people to handle things so the dont have to deal with it and they hire people who make false allegations up on tenants to kick them out. Landlord use ******** ***** name to intimidate tenants which as a tenant has no knowledge on the attorney but because of threats and notices stating she dont play and good Luck ! I am guessing this means you will loose your case and I research her and it is said she doesnt play fair.

      In July 2024, I applied for a unit at Empyrean Apartments in *******, managed by The John Stewart Company. I was placed on the waitlist, attended a tour, and submitted all required documents including ID, Social Security card, proof of income, and banking details. I was never charged an application fee.Despite complying with all requests, I was strung along for 11 months. The management repeatedly asked for updated or redundant documents such as paystubs, bank statements, and written explanations of deposits even after I provided them along with formal statements, clarifications, and verification from my *********** file was passed between multiple staff members over this period: ****** ******* ******* Racquel, and ******. No one provided a final decision or formal denial. I was left in ***** and ultimately forced to find alternate housing at a higher cost due to delays. I followed up professionally many times and even offered to clarify deposits and re-explained my income status after workers' comp ended in October 2024.This experience has caused emotional and financial distress. I believe it reflects gross negligence and a lack of proper training or communication between staff. I am seeking resolution through a final written explanation, internal accountability, and confirmation this wont happen to other applicants.

      My belongings without my knowledge were destroyed by mold and my ancestors belongings were illegally not even packed put in asbestos bags left to mold and I've been trying over 2.5 years to get a answer from John Stewart Company after I was told it would be taken care of by ******** ***** ***** ***** it's so sad and the house flooded after the electric fire which I had nothing to do with an that was over 2.5 years ago and without my knowledge again the belongings I had was flooded out on January ****** I was assaulted in the temporary place at621 ********* and was in the hospital still have damage and I was told by ******* ***** the manger that has been Harassing me over 3.5 years it's been so hard for me as a person of the community who has been working for seniors sworn in by ** *** RIP AS SECRETARY YET THSTS ANOTHER STORY ABOUT THE PRESIDENT WHO DON'T HELP RESIDENTS.       John Stewart Company is property management company at 1064 Mission, where many tenants are connected to mental health treatment and have severe mental illnesses. Several tenants have payees, who pay their rent monthly for them, and some clients are under a conservatorship, which implies severe mental illness. 1. **** Stewart causes harm to tenants by accusing tenants of being behind on rent when they in fact are not. **** Stewart simply has not reconciled their accounting and are unnecessarily stressing out tenants by accusing them of being behind on rent. 2. On many occasions, I have asked that John Stewart Company not speak to these tenants regarding their rent but instead speak to the tenants payee or conservator. My requests have gone ignored. 3. Every time I check in with these client's payees, these checks have already been cashed for rent, 100% of the time. 4. **** Stewart needs to know what type of clients they are working with, how to navigate complex mental health residential buildings and how to reconcile their accounting like a modern day business. This is unacceptable and is exacerbating tenants mental health symptoms, causing undue harm. I want a resolution to these unacceptable practices. In no other circumstance would these practices be acceptable.

      I received a check from the apartment complex *************** who is part of the John Stewart company. I cashed it and my bank ended up telling me the company put a stop payment on the check. At first I was told it was expired but it was issued on 06/17/2024 and I received it 3 months later 09/18/2024 then I got a copy of the check from my bank showing it was good for 180 days after it was issued. Ive been reaching out to John Stewart company since 09/27 and at first was told someone would get back to me. Every week since Ive called two times a week and been told the same thing then for the past two weeks Ive been getting told the regionals managers boss would reach out to me since I havent heard anything back for weeks and for me to send them a forwarded email of the email I sent to quetzal gardens originally showing when I received the check which I did Monday. I was told the same thing someone would reach out to me this week. Its the end of the day Thursday and still no phone call no email nothing. I call back in today to be told by **** from administration that I would not be speaking to the regional managers boss but when the regional manager is in Monday 10/28 next week I will supposedly speak to him. I keep getting the run around getting told I will let ***** (the regional manager) know and he will get back to you. I will send him an email with your contact information and he will get back to you. For WEEKS. I have not had one conversation with him SINCE 09/27/2024 about him telling me personally he will call me back with an answer to what happened THAT DAY. Ive not spoke to him once since and Quetzal Gardens says its up to accounting or ***** I need to speak to to get a check reissued then I call them and they say its Quetzal Gardens manager I need to speak to. Its back and forth. Then I get told to speak to ***** but have not heard anything back from him to this day.

      I never received my refund for my deposit. Also I was supposed to have a reimbursement for my unit being inhabitable due to my unit flooding.

      I am being discriminated against by the manager ********************************* at the marina ******* apartments in ******, ** along with the regional manager which is her friend her name is ***********************. I started my application process in March ******** was dishonest with me about receiving my employment verification for me to call my hr **** and them tell me they have already sent over the proof via fax April 15th. So she sat my file to the side instead of sending it off which could cause another candidate to be pulled for the units before me even though my paperwork was already ready in April. ******** emails me April 23rd to say she has received everything now that I have called my hr and her corporate office on her once i found out she is not being truthful. I have contacted her twice since she states my file has been sent over to compliance. It has been a total of three weeks and I cannot get a response out of her and compliance should have an answer by now. I have called corporate five times to speak to ****** about this and today I was told she isn't responding to the emails yesterday I was told they would call me once they talk to ****** and the compliance department I did not do anything to these people for this treatment the one time I talked to *********************** she made it very clear she was friends with ******************** but that does not mean they should be teaming up on me like this I am homeless with disabled children I never knew it to be this difficult to get a response from compliance because she is doing things she has no business and she is purposely trying to not give me a unit and it's not fair to be treated this way by them .

      The John Stewart Company, and apartments ********************************** has discriminated against me and ran an extensive credit and background check on me without my permission. I was harassed by an employee from the company one of The property managers in regards to that I was denying for an apartment **** Stewart and *********************** retaliated against me
