1 starSunrun rep **** *****-******** convinced my 90-year-old grandfather to sign a 25-year solar contract for panels and a battery system he will never own. He was told there would be no bill, no out-of-pocket costs, and no lien on the homeall false. **** also claimed that ***** was offering this for free and my grandfather just needed to pay for one month of *************** grandfathers TXU bill has never been over $250/month, but Sunrun locked him into a $220/month payment with a 3% increase every year for 25 years. This is a clear case of preying on a senior citizen with deceptive tactics.When I found out the day before install, we called ****. He was hostile, rude, and disrespectfulespecially toward my elderly grandfather. When I said we needed time to review the contract, **** replied, We already have a contract. Whatever. I told him we would work to cancel it, and he snapped, Whatever. Ill just cancel it. ENJOY your 22 cents per kWh! When I asked for confirmation in writing, he refused, saying, I wont be sending you anything! and hung up.Its shameful that Sunrun allows this kind of behavior. Signing a 90-year-old to a 25-year contract based on lies is unethical. **** should be fired immediately, and Sunrun should review any other contracts hes pushed through. 1 starSomeone from this company shows up uninvited at our house a few times a yearndepsite the no soliciting signs.ntjis evening a young man simply refused to leave and kept ringing the doorbell after my husband closed the door in his face. I actually had to call 911 to get him to leave. He refused to show ID, and had the nerve to say he'd come back tomorrow. STAY AWAY FROM SUNRUN!!! I signed up with Sunrun in March 2024. Their contractor stepped through my ceiling during installation. Once it was "turned on" the system didn't work for 7 months while I had to pay my Sunrun and elevated electic bill since they pointed out the plan I needed from ************** which charges around .28/kw. During this whole time the sales *** promised that I would be reimbursed for the whole in the ceiling and for my electrical bill while my system wasn't working. They finally ***laced the battery in October 2024 which fixed the system for about a month. Once again I was having to pay my Sunrun and electic bill which, once again, I was told I would be reimbursed. They came out and finally fixed it in February on 20i25 but I have not received the close to $4,000 I was promised via text and email from the sales person in reimbursement. The sales *** stop answering calls/texts and several other ***resentatives and managers have taken up the case but, except one, they just give me the run around and disappear. I have all communications from the sales *** including the reciepts I've sent him to make sure the reimbursement is accurate. it's been over a year and I'm still waiting to be made whole. I will actively advocate anyone interested in solar to NOT use this company.Sunrun, Inc.

I have had this solar system for 11 months, and it has been non-operational for a total of 7 of those months. For 5 of those months, I was unaware it had stopped working, as I assumed everything was functioning correctly. During that entire time, I continued to be billed monthly.When I contacted support, I was surprised to learn that your team had no record of the system being downeven though the app clearly indicated that the issue was being worked on. After my call, it still took another full month before a technician came out to repair the unit. No refund was issued for the months the system was not functioning.Three months later, I checked my account again, only to discover the system had once again been offline for nearly a month. Just like before, the app stated that repairs were in progress, but upon calling, the team had no knowledge of any issue.When I requested a refund for the months I was charged for a non-functional system (nearly 7 months in total), I was told this would need to go through an early performance guarantee review process. I was also informed that this review only occurs every two years, and I might receive some compensation only if system performance is below 90%.As of today, I am nearly $1,000 out of pocket, with an unreliable and frequently non-operational system, and no clear path to reimbursement.Frankly, I regret moving forward with this solar provider. This experience has felt misleading at best and predatory at worstinstalling a defective system, failing to monitor or promptly repair it, and continuing to charge customers despite non-delivery of service. This is unacceptable, and I strongly urge people to not use Sunrun.Sunrun, Inc.

Sales **** have been coming house to house several times. They have been very persistent with high pressure sales pitches. They keep knocking on the door and if you dont answer, they start pounding on the door. They also said that HECO is going to start turning the power off, using a scare technique. I will never use Sunrun.Sunrun, Inc.

Sunrun misrepresented its lease agreement. Thank god I have some evidence of the misinformation. They tried to back out of what they told me and charge me. Lost significant money buy using this company already. Complete scam. Record all calls and keep records when dealing with this company.Sunrun, Inc.

Worst company to work for in sales. It takes months to get paid for jobs after they are installed. Then if you quit they just keep the jobs that are installed after you quit. I worked for ****** ********* in the ********************* He just made up lie after lie why I'm not getting paid. Do not work for them!Sunrun, Inc.

Doing business with this company is pretty much like selling your soul outright to satan. If a salesperson comes knocking on your door, do not answer it. Do NOT be tempted to enter into a contract that will span most of your lifetime. These panels, with their hundreds of dollars a month payments, don't save you money on your electric bill. And when I say you sell your soul outright- there is absolutely NO way to get out of their contract unless you can sell your home and pass it to the next poor soul. Their customer service *****, the technicians are terrible, the batteries don't work. My system has been on FAULT for 8 months now. Which is funny, because my electric bill has been reduced since it's been faulty. Run from SUNRUN.Sunrun, Inc.

I had some solar panels installed by Sun Run. Well I thought that everything was right until it rain. My house been leaking water through the Sun Run panels since Friday. I call the company don't have anyone to fix my problem until possible another 24hrs. So much to taking care of the customer. I would not recommend Sun Run to to my worst enemy. You have been warned. They just want your money.Sunrun, Inc.

Hidden fees like charging you $5 for not having autopay set up. Canceling appointments very last minute on you. Unprofessional and worst customer service ever you end up getting connected to someone out of the **** dont recommend doing business with them unfortunately for me the house I bought had an existing contract.Sunrun, Inc.
