Hidden fees like charging you $5 for not having autopay set up. Canceling appointments very last minute on you. Unprofessional and worst customer service ever you end up getting connected to someone out of the **** dont recommend doing business with them unfortunately for me the house I bought had an existing contract.

I got solar panels as a lease system on my roof.I got an alarm from my installer (freedom forever) that one of the solar panels has a critical alert. They asked me to get a service number so that they can repair it. I have a 10 year warranty in my contract.I informed SUNRUN.this is the answer:Hi ********,Thank you for reaching out to Sunrun. As we discussed, Ive completed a thorough review of your solar system, and Im pleased to report that its performing wellexceeding its expected energy output. Based on this performance, theres no need to move forward with a service appointment for the individual panel in question. However, if you would still prefer to have a technician inspect and service that panel, we can arrange a visit for an out-of-pocket cost of $616.00. Given the current system performance, this does not appear necessary, but the option is available should you wish to proceed. If you have any further questions or need assistance, please dont hesitate to contact Sunrun Customer Engagement. Were always happy to ********* regards, *** ********* So just because it is performing well (sorry to have enough sun) there is no need for the company to fix the problem. But I can for $616.I don't think that is correct. I think the company is responsible to fix the problem I am paying the lease for. At the end of the lease (in x** years) I would bought a broken system ... I don't think that is right.SUNRUN ... I think you should rethink your decision and send someone over to fix the problem

Sent videos and recordings of over a year to our family attorney of harassment from this company. Let them know to please stop coming to my door over and over with no trespassing signs and a no soliciting sign.

I leased solar panels from Vivint back in 2021. The *** promised that if the panels needed to be removed and reinstalled so a new roof could go on, there is no charge for the first time. Then big bad Sunrun took over and they refuse to honor the original deal. To remove and reinstall the panels, it will cost somewhere north of $5000! If I would have known this before signing, I never would have agreed to the lease because what they charge deletes any money saved by having solar panels

I am receiving about a dozen calls a day from someone looking to give me "information on solar", and asking if i am the homeowner. I couldn't get it to stop; i tried answering, not answering, telling them i am not the homeowner etc. They are relentless, saying ******************** or ************** etc. I finally decided to see it through, answering their questions, right up until getting an appointment. It was "Sunrun". They use illegal practices (robocalls to do not call list people etc.). They are relentless. They might say "we aren't making the calls", but they contract (knowingly) with groups using illegal tactics. They should be fined!

DON'T GET SUNRUN! I regret signing up with Sunrun and now seem to be stuck in a contract that has me paying 50% more for power than we paid on our most expensive month with MECO only. We were told that all of the 110v power at our house would be connected to the battery and that we would generate enough power that the credit we received from MECO would offset the 220v use. Instead they only connected our lights and outlets in the kitchen everything else still pulls from the grid and the way the system puts power back on the grid we only received a couple dollars credit, not nearly enough to offset a bill that is now $100 a month, on top of the $200 a month we are paying Sunrun. Our previous highest bill was only $195! The customer service has been atrocious. We've been getting the run around from them for nearly 10 months with no resolution. So far all we gotten are false promises of credits and solutions that never materialize. Its hard to imagine a worse experience.

I really had good hopes todo business with Sunrun but after the experience I am having with them, I am disappointed. I have been back and forth with trying to fix my system and it still has not been fixed. I actually emailed my case manager Rylie and still I have not heard from them. My system has not been working for 2 months and my electric bill went up. Sunrun says I have a bad battery and I need a new one but waiting 2 months for a new one I think is ridiculous. My case number is ********

I signed a solar contract with Sunrun after a representative told me I would only be paying $87/month and that I would own the system. That was completely misleading. After the contract was finalized, I found out I was actually locked into a 25-year lease at $247.03/month, which included a backup battery and charges from their selected electric provider — not my choice. There was no option to purchase the system, despite what I was led to believe.
During installation, one of their technicians fell through my attic, damaging my attic and attic door. Although they eventually repaired it, I was left to deal with the stress and disruption. I submitted a recorded conversation proving the sales rep misled me, but Sunrun told me they couldn’t cancel the contract because I signed it. When I asked them to remove their equipment from my home, they refused, saying there was nothing they could do.
I have since filed complaints with the ***, ***** ******** *******, and Better Business Bureau. My advice: read every page of the contract and do not trust verbal promises. Once you sign, you're stuck — even if the terms were misrepresented and your home is damaged. I regret doing business with Sunrun and hope others don’t fall into the same situation.

Worst business for solar that I've dealt with. I have 3 solar farms on various properties. Sunrun, 1 to be unnamed, and 1 that went out of business. Of each provider, i was, and still am, happiest with my decision to go with the one that went out of business. Complete opposite of sunrun. Sunrun customer service is the worst. They double book appointments, send technicians to the the site to troubleshoot the same issue the next day, their phone support is not helpful until you close any active tickets, the sales and install team completely ignore you after they "do their part". My system was installed in 11/24 , but has not worked properly since. It is now 6/25. At no point did they reach out to me, I needed to let them know that their stuff is broken. So much for 24/7 monitoring. When I called my installation representative, she told me that since the day of install, she will no longer be assisting and it is now a trouble ticket issue. Way to leave people high and dry Sunrun. I highly discourage anyone from going with this company.
