    On September 7, 2024, I was unexpectedly charged $192.00 by WriteSonic for a subscription renewal that I neither wanted nor needed. I had previously canceled my subscription due to dissatisfaction with their services, as explained in earlier emails with WriteSonic support. Despite this cancellation, I was billed for an entire year of service that I have not used and do not intend to use.Timeline of Events:1. Initial Subscription and Cancellation: I initially subscribed to WriteSonic but quickly found the platform inadequate for my needs. The platform's inability to handle certain creative tasks, high cost compared to competitors, and overall difficulty of use led me to cancel the service. I am certain that I completed the cancellation process at that time.2. Unwarranted Charge (September 7, 2024): Despite my cancellation, I was charged $192.00 for a subscription renewal. I immediately contacted WriteSonic to request a refund and clarify the situation.3. WriteSonics Response (September 2024, 2024): WriteSonic acknowledged the charge but refused to issue a refund, citing their policy that refunds are only available within seven days of purchase. They also offered to downgrade my plan or provide a discountboth irrelevant as I no longer wished to use their service.4. My Rebuttal: I reiterated that I had already canceled the subscription and believed it was mistakenly reactivated when I briefly accessed the platform. I emphasized that I had not used the service for nearly a year and that being charged for a full year of unused service was unfair. I believe WriteSonics actions constitute predatory business practices. Despite my efforts to cancel, I was charged for a renewal. This reflects a lack of transparency in their cancellation process.

    I paid for a 1 year subscription in January 2023 for their services.I canceled my subscription on 1/2/2024.On the same day they charged me US$392 for another year of subscription.I contacted them and asked them to refund me since I had canceled.They had never sent me an email about renewing my subscription.I know that I have 7 days to request a full refund.They deliberately do not answer my requests or answer with saying they are sorry to see me go, yet they do not proceed with the refund.It is a lot of money that I cannot afford right now.I am still within the 7 days to ask for a refund yet they are dragging the issue so that the 7 days go by.Can you please help me?Thank you.
