    Very unethical business practice where they charge every year but don’t provide the services I am paying for. Forcefully ask to spend more money and upgrade the plan and close all the services for existing plan. You keep following up with them with no luck at all. Very poor services.

    I had been a customer for a few years, in which they've increased their pricing - that's fine as far as value goes. But then when I called to cancel my subscription, I was met with resistance and delay and was asked to speak with them directly instead of processing a refund. When they finally said they would issue a refund, they double charged the account, then refunded the extra charge. So I was still left with the initial charge. This is extreme deception at its best.They do not alert customers by email of any upcoming renewals for you to decide if you want to continue using their services. They even defended these actions in a response email to me. Their practices are extremely unprofessional and there is no way I would recommend their business to anyone.

    As a longstanding patron of Writesonic, I have observed that the company frequently modifies the features of its plans, often by removing them and shifting them to higher-tiered plans rather than adding new ones. Nonetheless, Writesonic continues to charge me the same amount as before, thereby diminishing the value I receive for my investment and eroding my confidence in the company. As a diligent ******* of my resources, I expect transparency from Writesonic. With annual and monthly billing featuring autorenewal, I would appreciate prompt notification of any feature removals from my subscription, particularly if they continue to bill me at the same cost. The company should immediately extend grandfather clauses to existing customers, ensuring that they retain the features they paid for and avoiding using bait-and-switch tactics that undermine consumer trust. Unfortunately, the receipts, documents, and invoices provided by Writesonic lack the requisite transparency. The company fails to itemize plan features in its monthly invoices, opting for cursory details regarding the billed amount and the plan name. A more comprehensive approach would involve specifying the features included in the plan being charged. While Writesonic updates its website to reflect changes in its subscription plans, it does not email me updates regarding my company's subscription, despite my expressed preference for such communication. It is unrealistic to expect customers to scrutinize their Writesonic subscription plans daily to ascertain whether they have lost any features. The removal of a feature has adverse ramifications for my business, particularly given Writesonic's claim to enhance the productivity and sales of small businesses. Regrettably, my company feels trapped after investing significant time in the product.
