Lack of instruction to begin with, to learn you have to dig for information on their forums. You make a mistake and there is no going back, no constructive feedback that helps move forward and do a better job next time. Humans are disposable to this company. Basically, if you make one mistake, that means your job has to be perfect without clear guidelines, and your account is deactivated. Im glad to not depend on this company for income. Its stressfull knowing youre disposable for one mistake you made on one 3 minute job. Terrible company to work for.

An electronic sweatshop. Brutal pay, incredibly harsh and arbitrary grading. Many of the files are interesting and fun, but NOT worth the constant fear of a bad grade destroying your metrics. You simply can't make anywhere close to even minimum wage unless on the + tier, and I rarely made minimum wage even there. A predatory company ripe for a govt. or class action lawsuit- they DO NOT pay minimum wage, not even close, not even with our absurdly low minimum wage in the US, and they KNOW IT. Should have quit much earlier than I did. Also, shocking how little they value their workers. Just transcribing galley slaves to be whipped. In an age where companies at least pretend hard to care, they don't even bother. Don't give these vampires a cent, or a minute of work.

Rev.com is unpredictable and highly volatile. They close freelance accounts without proper reasons, just sending an automated email. As if this is not enough, the accounts are closed towards the end of the work week, when someone has put in all their effort to work throuughout the week, only for them to withhold the earnings, and delete any earnings history from the website. It is a legit company that eventually scams freelancers of their hard-earned money.
