    wish i had read these reviews earlier, i also got bait and switched. i was offered 30% off but the wine now is already less than that. i spoke with customer service, they were very polite but not helpful.( ****) i have asked for return labels multiple times but they have not sent them. i will be contacting my credit card for charges dispute.

    Unethical business practices by Vivino. I ordered a case of wine and a different case arrived with a letter stating that they were out of my wine and picked a replacement for me- total Bait and Switch. Keep in mind they had all of my contact information including my phone number and could have called before shipping me random replacement wine. I called them and was offered 10% off (what a joke). I kindly told them that I would like a full refund and they could come pick-up their random case of wine. **************** said they would have to investigate if this was eligible for a refund and that could take 2-3 days. I lost it on the guy (performance based but it worked) and told him to refund my money in 1 hour or less or I'd dispute the charge with my credit card company. Five minutes later I had my refund. I'll continue to use the free app to research wine but will always buy elsewhere.

    Gave Vivino a second chance on a case lot order. Another Bait-Switch issue! Ordered 2019 Quilt Cab. received a 2020 Vintage even after the order, the preparing for shipment, the shipped notice, and the delivered notices all say 2019. I called in the issue 5 min.after deliver and talked to ***************** explained the issue, and was told they would send me a email link to upload pictures. Never received the link after 4 days so I sent them an email with the pictures, no response! Awful ***************** no accountability, and their supplier never reached out to me to exchange. I am done with Vivino.

    You have choices, go elsewhere. This company seems to be a business enterprise that just happens to be in the wine business. Their prices are very fair if not the best deal, and it makes you want to purchase from them. Unlike most wine vendors who sell you the wine from their inventory/ warehouse, that is not how it works, for the most part with Vivino. You might think you are buying from them directly but you are often acquiring through their various wine vendors. These wine vendors are not that accommodating because when I've asked them to hold a shipment during the summer, they still sent it. Sometimes you are buying the wine directly from Vivino and not outside vendors. Several bottles of wine that they sent me had damaged capsules. The Vivino customer rep did not know what a capsule was. It feels like they have an algorithm for selling things and communicating to customers. Asked to speak to a supervisor, they told me someone would call me back, but it never happened. I've sent multiple emails to them, almost all unanswered. When the bottles did arrive badly damaged, they replaced them. I am not joking when I tell you it was replaced with two bottles that were damaged where the label was essentially had slits through it as if cut with a box knife. I don't think they intentionally sent me damaged product, just carelessness. I was promised I would hear from them or a supervisor, I have not. I've never heard from anybody and then when I received the damaged goods again, it was too much. These damaged goods came directly from them not their outside vendor. I find that even more troubling. Their business model is an interesting one, but they are not executing. It feels like you're buying from a middleman and not a business. A good business needs to understand their audience. My experience and other people here suggests they are not. I cannot in good faith recommend this company to anyone and need to alert others to avoid them. I am a wine collector.

    I ordered 12 bottles of wine. The wine storage was bad and the wine went really bad. The wine was over the hill. Wine smell was really bad and it likes rotten hay and the color was brown. I open three bottles for my party and all of my friend spit it out. I opened one more bottle, and it is same, not drinkable nor cannot to use for cooking. Each bottle is over 40 dollars. I didn't mention wine maker, because it is not wine maker's fault. Absolutely, the problem is storage.I called VIVINO and they said they cannot accept items back because I received the wine more than fourteen day ago. I open the wine 14 days after delivery. They refused for any follow up

    Buyer beware! I have bought wine from Vivino a few times and split some purchases with friends. Overall it was okay. I have a wine cellar and keep my wine in ideal conditions. A few months ago I opened a bottle of wine of which I purchased 6 bottles and a friend bought 6. All bottles were turned. I called Vivino who told me they would do nothing as they will only guarantee for 2 weeks. Who drinks all their wine in two weeks. The service person I talked to was incredibly rude. Shortly thereafter I opened my last two bottle of a different wine I purchased from Vivino. Also bad wine. I literally threw over $200 away. I have never dealt with any company who do not replace bad bottles. I suggested Vivino to several friends and have gone back to them all to let them know my experience. They no longer buy either.
