    More than 10 purchases that I've done over the course of a year have sellers who fail to provide the gift card after buying. I continuously kept trying different users in hopes of getting an actual card and every time they would take way longer than the allotted time (1 day) to send messages and 90% of the time they were random messages like "hi" " hello" and they would gaslight you for not responding when THEY messaged. Then they would end up canceling every listing and its still listed as SOLD under their profile. You also CAN'T review the seller unless its marked as completed transaction. I've talked to gameflip 3 times about this with my most recent email with them saying that I should do buy automatic cards (the issue wasn't the waiting at all, even though its completely a lie for the listing to say 1 day and it ends up back and forth 30 messages deep more more of them bullshitting) the issue was always them canceling and admitting that they don't have an estimate for when they're going to get the gift card. It's horrible how the website continues to allow sellers to get away with scamming buyers like this. It's all a lie under their profile for HOW MUCH they have ACTUALLY sold and how the sellers DONT EVEN HAVE THE **** CARD in their possession. I'm extremely tired of the website catering to these scammers. absolute disgrace of a company

As previously recommended by ***************** to prevent this issue of having to wait and/or the seller canceling the order due to lack of product, we advise purchasing instant delivery listings. This way you are guaranteed your item immediately as instant delivery listings are required to have the item in stock to create an instant delivery listing. We understand your frustration with not being able to leave feedback when a purchase is canceled by the seller. We've requested a review of this procedure with the management staff and hope to have a solution to this issue in the near future.The number of items sold depicted on the seller pages are accurate in that they state how many successful sales have been completed. They MUST deliver the item for it to be counted. When a listing is purchased, it is changed to "sold" status, however, it does not count towards the seller's stats until the sale is completed. If it is canceled it does not count towards their sales stat. As compensation for your experience and a token of gratitude for your valuable feedback, we've added a $10 credit to your account balance.

    Gameflip allows users to sell gift cards bought using stolen accounts. My experience has been with Amazon gift cards at a discount. 5 of the Amazon gift cards I purchased on Gameflip redeemed successfully within 3 days but were later withheld due to disputes for fraudulent activity on the Amazon website.The first case I opened was for a $15 gift card that was revoked. I provided 4 screenshots. Customer support member ****** told me that I needed to provide a full screenshot of my Amazon account and all activity history, I couldn't use my phone or mobile app to do it, and I also needed written confirmation from Amazon Customer Support that the specific $15 gift card was rescinded because of fraud. I needed to supply this information within 48 hours or my case would be closed. Two Amazon CS reps refused to tell me the issue online and wanted me to have a phone call with the fraud department.I now have a case open for 3 separate $10 gift cards that were revoked. I am not hopeful. There are several HUNDRED instances of users disputing much higher gift card fraud, but Gameflip takes zero responsibility for it. Multiple users sell $500 Amazon gift cards with big discounts, and they all have over 50 negative ratings with every user commenting that the cards were revoked after the 3 day period Gameflip gives buyers to complete a transaction. Gameflip doesn't deactivate these sellers. The burden of evidence is always on the buyer who lost their money to scammers, and the scammers require no proof or validation whatsoever.This site could be something good. Sellers scamming people out of money with fraudulent gift card purchases was an issue in 2016, and it's still an issue today. Gameflip refuses to address it.

    After looking into this we see that you reported this to us three days ago on July 3rd. Customer Support started investigating after your report was received and issued you refunds for these purchases. A flag was placed on the seller to restrict his activities to ensure the validity of the items in the marketplace.

    I had sooooo many problems just trying to purchase items! I never liked the idea that I had to add money to THEIR platform to make purchases, but their stuff was soo much cheaper than everyone else, I gave it a try. First they banned my new phone number because the previous phone owner had used their services. Then they wanted proof of MY phone bill to add money to THEIR platform even though the transaction was approved! It took two days but they finally put the money into my account. You would think it would get easier. It didnt!Every time I tried to add money, I had to wait up to 24 hours before they would release the funds!!!! Several times, the item I wanted was purchased before I had the chance to! This last time, I tried to login and had to change my password. I did everything correctly. I tried to add money through apple pay. It said approved by I needed two-factor authentication. Not one text message came to my phone!!! After an hour, I contacted customer service which said 1-2 days response time. I was ****** so I asked to close my account. Instead of closing my account, they sent my instructions on how to properly login!!!!Nope! I sent in another request to close my account! This time, they finally agreed. I have had to cancel payments because they just held my money until they were ready to release it! Anytime you have to add money to THEIR platform to spend it is BAD NEWS!!! I should have trusted my gut!!!

    5-3-2023 Re: Fraudulent Charge and Defamation of Character Merchant: Gameflip I recently submitted a fraud case on my credit card regarding a charge of $93.38 from Gameflip. I was informed the charge was reversed and I was going to be credited the amount above. On the 25th I received a letter indicating the charge reversed. After looking at the information GAMEFLIP submitted, theyve yet to prove on paper that the gift card was used. Instead, they provided a Merchant Comment indicating that I received the funds and am trying to provide a fraudulent claim. This was mind blowing! *** ordered cards from them in the past and never had a problem like this. On one occasion, I purchased a gift card for Amazon and it could not be used in *******. I informed them and was refunded. Why they dont want to refund this time, I have no idea but to state that I RECEIVED the funds, and I am trying to provide a fraudulent case, is a GRAVE insult to my character. I attempted to access my Gameflip account and have now learned that I have been banned due to reporting this incident to Discover Credit Card. This is EXTREMELY concerning. Fortunately I have credit card records of the charges:Merchant: IJJI*65-JMTS ************ CA Tue, Sep 20 - Amount is $8.91 Wed, Sep 21 - Amount is $45.62 Sat, Oct 1 - Amount is $65.49 Thu, Oct 6 - Amount is $22.39 Fri, Oct 7 - Amount is $22.39 Sat, Oct 8 - Amount is $184.24 THIS CARD WAS CREDITED DUE TO NOT WORKING IN ******* Sat, Feb 11 - Amount is $88.21 Mon, Feb 13 - Credit Amount is $88.21 THIS IS THE **** CARD CHARGE THAT IS IN DISPUTE Tue, Feb 14 - Amount is $93.38 THESE FUNDS WERE NEVER RECEIVED!!!! I informed GF of this and they were completely unwilling to help. I need them to show proof that the gift card was indeed used and if they cant provide proof, then it only makes sense that there has been fraud committed by this company. WHERE IS THE MONEY?!? It has to be sitting somewhere?! Why is it so difficult to provide PROOF!?

The response is below:According to our system, this order was processed and completed. Either you clicked on "Complete Transaction" or our system processed the transaction automatically 3 days after the order was settled. As stated in our instructions, guidelines, and FAQ, clicking on "Complete Transaction" finalizes the sale and transfers the funds to the seller. If you ever experience any issue with a purchase, please place the order on hold and open a dispute by selecting "Hold transaction and open issue", located underneath the "Complete Transaction" button. This will stop the three-day automatic countdown to process the order and let us help you work towards a resolution. When you put a hold on your purchase, there is a process, which customer support would assist you through, and specific evidence that needs to be shown in order for a dispute to be ruled in your favor as the buyer. This was never received from you. As such, it was not possible for us to issue a refund without the information that would have been requested from you had a hold been placed on the transaction.......I informed them and they have those emails. Now their excuse is I didn't submit the info needed by them to refund the amount. Yet they told my credit card company that I had received the funds and was fraudulently trying to take advantage of them. I was scammed out of all my items and gameflip did nothing I had messages from the person admitting they received the items and it didn't matter. Gameflip is as much of a scam as the people stealing it

When this happens we ask that you send screenshots of the error message and account purchase history so we can verify that you were unable to redeem the code. We will check the code and the details of the redeemer with the issuer of the code. It sounds like perhaps we did not receive the requested information from you or that it was insufficient.

    I was selling in-game items for couple weeks.
    they decided to take down my listings.

    I was selling SAME EXACT items as the sellers.
    they are also selling SAME EXACT Items.

    Thank you for letting us know about this. We couldn't find any account associated to you with any sell listings that were removed. We only found an account ID CX28Y9 that was created a week ago with zero listings.

    We did see that you sent a ticket reporting sellers that may be selling hacked or modded items. Customer Support is actively investigating these claims. Since the investigation has not concluded we do not have any information on any actions that may be taken against the accounts you reported.

    Idk wth is happening. But it's been a month or so since I withdrawed my balance through wise and none of them came through, they were all just stuck as in transit and will never go through into my bank account. I contacted the bank and they said there were no payments or transfers going into my bank account in any way. Profile code is 3MQEQM. LOOK INTO IT!

We have sent you an email title "Wise Payout Request More Information Needed". Please reply to that email with the requested information and we'll send it to Wise who will hopefully be able to complete the transfer.

    If you do not want to provide the information, please reply to that email and let us know. We'll cancel the transfer so the funds revert back to your Gameflip wallet and you can choose a different payout provider.
