eBay has declined to remove a negative feedback resulting from a late shipment. The late shipment was due to my area being affected by a disaster which received a federal disaster declaration. The circumstances were out of my control. I want the feedback removed immediately. Upon further investigation, we discovered your recent negative feedback has already been removed. We're sad to learn of the devastation the tornadoes and severe storms caused in Oklahoma earlier this year and hope you and your loved ones are okay and doing well. Your recent interactions with our customer support referenced a possible stalking outside of your home. That is scary and if still happening we advise you contact the police so they can take appropriate action.

Ebay customer service is terrible. They outsource everything and there is no way to forward complaints with the company as they do not even provide an email address for this. If you complain to a supervisor they just ignore it because they know there is no corporate oversight.Business Response

On June 29,2022 I purchased a pressure washer hose and as of this date I have not received it, unable to reach Ebay as they no longer have agents to assist buyers leaving buyers at a lost as there is no way to communicate. Been with Ebay for more than 17 years and the customer service in non-existence. This is unacceptable on Ebays part and at this time I no longer will be spending my money with such unreliable service. The seller used a fake tracking number when I called ****** they told me that that tracking number went to someone else with a different name and address, Ebay also confirmed this and still no refund.Business Response

I'm a seller on eBay, so I sold an item that was priced at $310. So when you sale an item ebay gives you a breakdown of how much they are taking for fees. Okay the buyer ends up paying $356.93, and eBay takes 12.5% from sales between $0-$7,500. The buyer pays a buyers tax (I just found this out) and also for shipping. So the Tax for buyers has nothing to do with me the seller, but I found out eBay decides to add this tax to my final pay so they can take more in fees. I asked eBay to call me and when a associate got on and I explained what i just read. He told me I am right but it's nothing he can do. Ebay is charging buyers tax fees I understand but how can they use a payment that has nothing to do with the seller to boost up the payout to get more money for the fees they charge us. Please help not only me but every seller on eBay I've made over 30 sales on eBay so the amount of extra money they are receiving off of this scam is plentyful!!!Business Response

They say this is industry standards lol, ebay is the biggest platform! Ebay sets the standards! I use other platforms to sell and this is not something they do. Boosting up the total value to get bigger fees is not industry standards. Only thing me as a seller and a buyer has in common, is that we use eBay. A buyers sale tax shouldn't effect my pay. We sale on eBay platform to try to make a living! Sneaky things like this makes it hard to trust companies.

They suspended my account while I had a pending payment of roughly 40$ without explanation. I called them to ask why they put me on hold for 30 minutes and eventually said they will email me. Still no email from them. Im here to collect whats owed to me since I followed their guidelines and ship the buyer item. Escheatment is not an eBay policy, but rather a process which all regulated financial institutions must adhere to. How long the funds remain in an eBay liable account varies depending on region. Eventually we will release the funds consistent with local regulations. Sellers can contact their state to receive their funds and should be notified by email if they have asset/funds dispositioned as part of escheatment. If they have not received this notification, then the funds are still in the eBay liable account. I sold an item on eBay for $2685. The buyer was unsatisfied due to the fact that his software didn't work with the item. This is something one should probably know as all the information was stated in the add.. But whatever. I was ok with him/her returning the item but I required a signature at delivery being it's small valuable and easy to walk away with. The item was mailed and "delivered" but I never received my item. Did it walk away? Was it delivered to the correct address? No matter how many times I appealed the refund and how many claims I filled out it fell on def ears. Long story short ebay keeps charging my account the $2685 for the refund and every time my bank charges me $28.. I never received the return.Business Response

In reviewing the return for the logic controller, I can see that the buyer provided tracking information indicating that the controller had been delivered. After a thorough investigation of the return, I can confirm the case was actioned correctly. Although the case cannot be appealed, I'd like to walk through this with you to provide a better sense of understanding.
I recognize your main point of contention is due to the item not arriving back to you. However, please keep in mind the tracking supplied during the return shows what we would classify as evidence of a "successful delivery." Due to this fact, the case was initially closed in favor of the buyer and, when you attempted an appeal, it was denied. A successful delivery for us means tracking from an integrated carrier showing a delivery status of "delivered" or "attempted delivery," with the latter implying the item is likely waiting at the local courier facility. This delivery scan must be accompanied by the recipient's address, showing at least the city/county or zip code. Finally, for items costing over $750, signature confirmation is required.
In your specific instance, we can see the delivery status and address matches, and we can additionally see signature confirmation showing that the controller was signed for by "********." I can prove I was at work the day of the delivery and I can also prove my signature does not exist on any such documents. Forgery is a crime and if in fact there is a signature there is much bigger problems. I would like the value of my item sold at auction and the $28 charged 6 separate times for over drawing my bank for an item missing.. thanks and I'll be contacting the proper people to investigate this signature.

Since we do not have physical contact with your inventory during the initial sale or the return, we cannot confirm what condition the item was returned in, nor can we confirm what item is sent. As the controller did meet these requirements, it was expected that the buyer be refunded in full, and any auxiliary actions taken to investigate the missing controller be done independently. As no refund was ever issued, the case was escalated, and eBay refunded the buyer on your behalf.

I provided documents from the post master in ************. That state the tracking information eBay is basing there decision on is completely incorrect.. I can provide this information for anyone. It's a bully tactic and it's completely wrong.. I'm out my item and 2672$ plus all the times they overdrafted my account for 28 a piece..
