      I was a loyal **** customer when they first hit the market.They offered a free service that included up to 5 cameras without paying a monthly service fee.Years later, I upgraded to 9 cameras and agreed to pay a few dollars for the service. The service bumps up to 20+ dollars per ********** forward a few years, now **** tells me that my cameras are phased out and I needed to upgrade cameras.Once cameras are upgraded, they want to sell me a 3 year membership for over $200 or a lifetime service for even more money.They started off as an amazing company until their capitalistic tentacles turned them into used car salesmen.

      On October 17th of 2023 I purchased a lifetime plan with **** security for monitoring and storage of any motion recorded. From the receipt that I printed out, " Dear **** customer, you are Reg. with us Premium Plan for the lifetime, coverage for multiple cameras. One time payment is $199.99 including sales tax and processing fee. After that, no monthly, no yearly for lifetime"Today (Jun 19th, 2025) I received an email from them saying they could not process the planned because my credit card would not. accept it. The card was. Destroyed in November of 2024 and no. longer existed. That's why they cannot charge it. But the fact is it never should have been any attempt to charge it. When I called them up, I was told there's no such thing as a lifetime plan, and that the $199.99 was a yearly charge. ****. Good thing I'm moving next month, so I will no longer need their services as I'm moving into an apartment rather than living in a house where I currently have security cameras all over the place

      If I could rate this company a 0, I would! I bought two smart doorbells from **** a few years, ago, I have a new wifi router and now the doorbells DO NOT connect. I suspect that the doorbells do not connect to my wifi router because the **** doorbells have outdated technology. I believe this is true because when I received my new router, all of my other smart home devices have connected to my new wifi router, except the **** doorbells. I have been patient and worked with **** for TWO months to attempt to try to connect the smart doorbells, but the doorbells will not connect to my wifi router. I have asked **** for a refund for services that were not provided because the doorbells do not connect therefore are not functioning, but has closed my case twice, and now do not respond. I do not recommend that anyone purchase products from this company, as they do not use good faith efforts to try to resolve issues. How can you not even attempt to refund me for services (video doorbell subscription) that were not provided? I plan to file a complaint with the attorney general in my state, to receive a refund for services that were not provided.

      I've used the **** cameras for many years and pay for the subscription service. Last month, during my contract term, they changed how many cameras I can use under the contract and locations. I had 5 cameras in two locations and then with their updated App, I can only use for one location without another subscription. On top of that, the new App is terrible to use and basically impossible to figure out. I've talked with their support team 4 times and they really don't even know how to use it. The funny thing was they called me back and said they would give me 30% off my second subscription. I couldn't believe **** thought I would pay for a second subscription, given the fact that their new App is a mess and if they hadn't changed the terms of my existing contract, I would still be able use the cameras at two locations. Word of advice, go with another company that offers decent customer service and won't change conditions within a contract period.

      I just set up a chime account, not even 5 days ago, just the app so far, I havnt even received my cards in mail yet and I suddenly get a chime notification a $25 charge was declined due to insufficient funds, I havnt even used my chime yet, no cards, no $ on it thank God! It was from this Arlo technologies **** I'm in contact with chime now as to how this happened I've never even entered my card # anywhere because I don't have a card yet! VERY fishy!

      **** wired doorbell provides a "charging unit" which boosts the voltage for video transmission. Mine is not working and they don't sell it separately so I tried a support call and here is what happened:get a call back, talk to first ****** had me navigate the website without asking me about the specifics of the problem, told me she was going to connect me to another ****** got the other ****** described the problem and explained my issue, *************************************** about the specifics of the issue, needed to talk to someone, 5 minutes later comes back and asks about the stuff I already told him, said he was going to ask another person, 5 minutes later, comes back and asks me about the specifics of the issue, then explains they can't help me. This is a strategy. I saw the same thing when I called *************** support once. The objective is to not help you because otherwise it might cost them some money. It is perverse but so it goes.

      **** has taken my money I paid for doorbell camera plan. They took the money from my Credit card right away. I go into the app and my subscription has not shown up. I tried to talk to someone customer **********************. They wont talk to me because I dont have an active plan which is the issue on calling about so Im going in circles. This is the worst customer service Ive ever experienced in my entire life. If I could leave less than one star, I would
