      1) Job is not complete. All parts were not installed and tenant cannot secure their belongings in one garage of the duplex.
      2) Doors are unsafe as installed and unable to be safely opened or closed and locked, without locking exterior handles.
      3) Owners have not authorized a payment past the 50% deposit placed on May 23, 2023.
      4) Both company and installer have failed to contact owners regarding job completion or to return their phone messages left on July 1, 2023.
      5.23.23 - sales rep tech advises we need 2 new doors.
      6.1.23 - Precision Door calls tenant K saying only one door is available for June 8th. K suggests they do both at the same time. Precision Door NEVER contacts the owners about this.
      6.28.23 Tenant S takes the 28th off work to manage her 2 cars during the installation. Tenant K calls because they are a NO SHOW (2nd attempt). At 1:08pm: Joey, the installer, calls the owner to explain he has taken the entire week off to be with his family for his brother’s funeral. Nonetheless, Precision Door has scheduled him to work all week, Precision Door NEVER contacts the owners about this. They agree to a 3rd attempt on Saturday, July 1.
      7.1.12 - They are a NO SHOW. Tenant advises the owner who calls both Precision Door and Joey. No one answers and no one calls back. Tenant S goes online to a Live Chat.
      7.1.23 - A truck shows up at 3:30pm. Three more trucks arrive and tell tenant they are not installers, but got a 911 call to come out. They work until 10:30pm in 108 degrees to install 2 doors. All parts are not there for one of the doors, so the job is not completed and garage is not secured. The sawdust from the wood frame extension is scattered all over the driveways and a garage door spring is laying on the lawn.
      There is NO WAY to open or close the doors from the exterior, except to place your hands on the metal door panels and shove the entire door up. The hot metal panels are burning their hands! This is clearly UNSAFE and UNSATISFACTORY!!!

      We have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 20307559, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.  The business has contacted us and we are working to resolve this situation.

      We still have a ways to go, though, as there may not be convenient, usable power for a garage door opener to be installed. Since Victor Rocha contacted us we have been moving forward towards a resolution. Thank you!

      I purchased a new garage door on 2/1/22. It was installed on 4/5/22 and we noted that the door panels were scratched. They returned and attempted to paint over the scratches. This was poorly done and not an acceptable solution for new doors. They agreed to reorder the panels. On 6/15/22 they installed a 2nd set of panels that were also scratched and some even had touch up paint on them. This indicates that they were bringing us someone else's damaged door panels. On 8/15/22 they came to reinstall new panels, but they only had 3 out of 4 replacement panels. On 10/13/22 they came with 4 panels and they were also scratched, so they were not installed. On 12/16/22 someone came out to discuss with us. They stated that they are no longer working with that particular vendor, so they cannot replace it with what we had paid for and currently are not offering carriage-style doors at all. They discussed replacing the door with a lower cost, plain door. I was told that someone would call back to assist us within 2 weeks. No one called back to reschedule within 3.5 weeks. With each step, I make multiple attempts to contact them and it takes weeks to actually make contact despite promises that I will hear back the same day.

      The cost of the door & install was $3,899.99.

      This company has been unable to provide an undamaged door for almost a full year. It takes multiple attempts to get anyone to call me back. Each time they come out, we need to clear out the entire garage so they have room to work and make arrangements for our dog to be off of our property while they are here. This has been a major inconvenience to our family.

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 18808588, and find that this resolution is barely satisfactory to me.
      They have offered to order a new door for me.  This has already been done several times already. They told me that this time they would be ordering from a new manufacturer, but they were unable to tell me which manufacturer it was.  They assured me that it would be the same style and color, yet were unable to provide me with a website, brochure or product sample. I have no idea what they are actually ordering and it sounds like they do not either.  I asked if they would be able to inspect the door panels prior to me clearing out my garage (again) for them to come for the install.  Despite asking that question more than once, I was told "it's a new door."  We had several other deliveries that were new doors that were in poor condition, so this is not a satisfactory response to my inquiry of whether or not they could check them before delivering and taking up even more of time.

      Precision Garage Door installed a new garage door with my existing garage door opener. They said that my existing opener would not work. In the process of installing the door they bent a rail. The door does not open correctly when disconnected from the opener. I told them this in an phone call on 8/23/22 but the "receptionist" could not find someone to help me. The next day I was threated with collection agency by an Olga Olivarez. I calmly stated that I would gladly pay but felt that it should be fixed before paid. They became rude and threatening and stated that they would only fix it after I paid.
