      I would warn any business to NOT buy the *** Professional Payroll or any product from them based on the poor product and their lack of standing by their product! I purchased the software program prior to the 2024 version. The 2024 was updated and this version NEVER functioned properly! The Ohio city summary never would work. And therefore, I had to go to my accountant, and spend additional money, to have the W-2 created and e-filed. *** said they were working on a solution throughout the year. Several times I was on the phone with customer care, and they even had IT remoted into my computer to get the program to work properly (what parts of it that actually did work). Upon asking for a refund, they refused. The owners were the ones the customer care representative asked per her response to me. And, even worse, said they said why didn't you call in to resolve the problem sooner. Upon hearing that I told the customer care representative I had tried to get it resolved several times throughout the year and she knows because she was the one I talked to! And she responded I know...at least she was honest about that. The program runs $300.00 and does not function properly and the owners and AME Software Products, Inc should have refunded my money for the never working correctly software! Based on my experience with AME products and their lack of commitment to product quality and professional customer care I would recommend not dealing with them in any way!
